For the avoidance of doubt, the winners of Rounds 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are not the participants with the highest cumulative points at the end of those rounds, but the participant who scores the highest number of points during that particular round. Overall Prize Winner:
Overall Prize: The participant with the highest total number of points at the end of the Promotion Period will win 4 x Gold Tickets to see Australia play in a KFC Twenty20 international match in Melbourne during the 2011/2012 cricket season on a date to be determined by the Promoter (valued at $400 ($100 per person)) as well as return economy airfares for the winner and their 3 travel companions from their nearest capital city to Melbourne (valued up to $2,000 (up to $500 per person)) and 1 night twinshare accommodation at a 3 Star hotel (of the Promoter’s choice) in Melbourne (valued up to $720 ($180 per person)).       A participant may enter one fantasy cricket team only (multiple teams will be deleted). Each participant must select a team consisting of 11 players and 1 twelfth man made up of:

      Participants should use their cricket knowledge to decide if the match is likely to favour batsmen or bowlers and set their twelfth man accordingly. The twelfth man acts as an automatic substitute and only scores points if one of the selected players does not start the match.

      You can select up to 3 players from any one team during regular competition (Round 1 to 6). A maximum of 8 players can be selected from each competing team for the finals (Round 7 and Round Cool.

      Each player has been given a value which is fixed for the duration of the series. The total value of your team must not exceed 100. The value of each player can be found here.
    * A participant may enter one fantasy cricket team only (multiple teams will be deleted). Each participant must select a team consisting of 11 players and 1 twelfth man made up of:

Automatic substitutions are made at the end of the game round, when all matches have been played.
Captains

Each participant must nominate a member of their team to be captain. This player will score double the number of points he would usually have been awarded for that match. For example, if a captain scores -100 points during a match, they will be awarded -200 (-100 x 2).

If a participant’s captain does not play then the bonus will be lost.

A participant may select a new captain for each match.

Rounds and deadlines

The Promotion is divided into eight rounds, as set out below. All changes to a team must be made 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of each match. The scheduled start of each match is listed below. Please note all start times and dates may be amended by CA at any time without notice.

Terms and Conditions KFC Twenty20 Big Bash Fantasy Cricket 2010-2011 (Promotion)

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.

Any person is permitted to participate in the Promotion, however only permanent residents of Australia are eligible to win a prize. Entrants who are under 18 years of age must have approval from their parent or guardian to enter the promotion. Employees (and the immediate families of employees) of the Promoter and Cricket Australia (CA) (including, without limitation, CA contracted players), the Promoter’s associated companies and agencies are ineligible to win any prizes associated with the Promotion.

To enter, participants must visit http://bigbashfantasy.foxsports.com.au and complete all required fields. Participants must then select players from the Queensland, NSW, WA, Victorian, Tasmanian and South Australian KFC Twenty20 Big Bash cricket teams in accordance with these terms and conditions to form their fantasy team. Participants will receive points based on the performance of their selected players in each KFC Twenty20 cricket match during the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash competition played from 30 December 2010 to 5 February 2011.

Team selection
A participant may enter one fantasy cricket team only (multiple teams will be deleted). Each participant must select a team consisting of 11 players and 1 twelfth man made up of:
1 Wicket keeper
5 Batsmen
2 All rounders
4 Bowlers

Participants should use their cricket knowledge to decide if the match is likely to favour batsmen or bowlers and set their twelfth man accordingly. The twelfth man acts as an automatic substitute and only scores points if one of the selected players does not start the match.

You can select up to 3 players from any one team competing during regular competition of the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash (Round 1 to 6).

A maximum of 8 players can be selected from each team competing during the finals of the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash (Round 7 and Round Cool. Each player has been given a value which is fixed for the duration of the series. The total value of a participant’s team must not exceed 100 units.

Captains

Points are awarded to players as set out in the table below. Points will be calculated by the Promoter using data obtained by the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision regarding the interpretation of an ‘action’ and allocation of points is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Dropped Catch when a fielder, in attempting to take a catch, makes contact with the ball but is unable to complete the catch. A player is also responsible for a dropped catch if he fails to make contact with a ball which is considered catch-able.

Misfield - when a fielder fails to stop the ball in the field and allows more runs to be scored than otherwise would have been.

Bonus Examples
A player scoring 76 runs in a KFC Twenty20 at a strike rate of 118.7 will receive a bonus of 38 points (76. * 0.5) for strike rate and a bonus of 25 points for scoring a 50.
A player bowling 4 overs (24 balls) in a KFC Twenty20 at an economy rate of 7.3 will receive 48 bonus points (24 * 2).

Leagues
Each participant competes and is automatically entered in the following leagues:
•   The overall public league involving all registered players; and
•   A public league for fellow players from the same state.

Participants may also enter into private leagues with their friends and colleagues (optional). An individual participant may compete in up to 10 private leagues.

General

The Promotion commences at 12.01am AEDT on 16 December 2010 and closes at the conclusion of the Final of the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash competition, scheduled to be on 5 February 2011 (Promotion Period).

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.

If in determining a prize winner there is a tied result, the prize will be awarded to the participant who has made the least transfers during the Promotion Period. If the result is still tied, the prize will be awarded to the participant who was the first to register their details online, as determined by the Promoter.

The winners will be notified by telephone and in writing on 10 February 2011. The winners’ details will be published online at foxsports.com.au and the Overall Prize Winner’s name will also be published in the public notices section of The Australian newspaper on 18 February 2011 where required by State laws.

Neither the Promoter nor CA is liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or sustained during the course of entering and participating in the Promotion or accepting or using a prize, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of data or other information, loss of services or personal injury , except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or player selections or for any technical difficulties or periods of unavailability of the entry mechanism or FOX SPORTS website during the Promotion Period.

The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

If a prize remains unclaimed at 5.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time on 19 May 2011, the Promoter will award the prize to the participant with the next highest points as at the end of the Promotion Period (in the case of the overall prize) or scored during the relevant round (in the case of a round prize), subject to any written directions given by State Authorities. If the prize is an event based prize (ie. tickets to a sporting event) and that event occurs prior to the unclaimed prize draw, the prize will be forfeited and no replacement prize will be offered. If an unclaimed prize is awarded, the winner will be notified by telephone and in writing on 25 May 2011. The Overall Prize Winner’s name will be published in The Australian newspaper (if required) on 25 May 2011 where required by State laws.

If a winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent/guardian on their behalf.

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.

Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning or receiving the prize. Each winner should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting a prize.

By entering the Promotion, each winner agrees:
•   if requested by the Promoter, the winner will:
o   provide comments about the Promotion and/or a photograph or audiovisual clip of themselves; and
o   participate in a promotional shoot in connection with the Promotion;
•   the Promoter and/or CA may use the winner’s name, image, comments, photographs or clips (Materials) for publicity and promotional purposes in any form of media, without reference or compensation to the winner or any other person;
•   the Promoter and/or CA may use, reproduce, edit and communicate to the public the Materials at any time in any form of media;
•   the Promoter and/or CA may license, authorise or otherwise transfer the rights in the Materials to others to do the same; and
•   the winner unconditionally and irrevocably consents to any act or omission that would otherwise infringe any of their moral rights in the Materials and waives all moral rights in the Materials that arise outside Australia.

All prizes will be sent to the winner via post to an Australian address. The Promoter accepts no liability for prizes lost in transit.

If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned (whether caused by infection by computer virus, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, inclement weather or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or otherwise affects the administration, security, fairness, conduct or integrity of the Promotion), the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a State Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.

Entries and player selections are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Promotion, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of administration or conduct of this Promotion. The Promoter assumes no responsibility with regard to entries and player selections for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, unauthorised access or alteration.

The Promoter collects and uses information about participants to enable it to conduct the Promotion and award prizes. If a participant elects to receive information from other third parties, the Promoter will also provide the participant’s personal information to such third parties so that such third parties can contact participants, including by electronic communication methods (including email and SMS), with special offers, promotions and information about the third parties’ goods and services. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Participants may request from CA access to the personal information that CA holds about them, unsubscribe from receiving marketing information from CA or obtain a copy of CA’s privacy policy by contacting CA at privacy@cricket.com.au.

Participants must not enter a team or private league name which is defamatory, unsightly, offensive to the public or which infringes the rights of any person. Any participant who uses a team or private league name which is found to be defamatory, offensive, unsightly or infringes any third party’s rights in any way will indemnify the Promoter, its agents, contractors and related companies from any legal action, costs, loss, claim or dispute arising in relation thereto and the team or private league name will be deleted.
