Red Xmas Photography Competition
THE COMPETITION
1. Red Xmas is a photography competition.
2. Information on how to enter the Red Xmas photography competition and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
THE PROMOTER
3. The Promoter is Ted’s Cameras
4. Ted’s Cameras reserves the right to cancel the Competition at any time and change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice to any participant, if this is necessitated by unforeseen circumstances beyond Ted’s Cameras’ reasonable control
ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
5. Entries open on Monday 29 November 2010 and close at 23:59 (AEST) on Sunday 9 January 2011
6. The competition is open to all residents of Australia. Any professional or amateur photographer, regardless of age, gender or nationality, may participate

Only photographs of Australian cities will be accepted into the competition8. Entries can only be submitted online at
www.teds.com.au/photocomp using the specific entry form
9. Entrants must provide the following personal details: full name, email address and a day time contact number or mobile phone number

Digital images must not exceed a file size of 5MB. Entries over this size restriction will not be accepted
11. Please note that Ted’s Cameras may contact winning entrants to obtain higher resolution images for promotional purposes outlined in section 13
12.
A maximum of Five (5) entries per entrant may be submitted. In the event that Ted’s Cameras determines that more than five (5) entries has been submitted by the same entrant, Ted’s Cameras shall have the right to disqualify those entrants with multiple entries
13. Photographs must be accompanied with a caption of 25 words or less
14. Entrants retain copyright in their photographs. However submission of an entry gives to Ted’s Cameras a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable permission for three years to reproduce winners’ photographs without fee for the purposes of marketing and promoting the competition and any future Ted’s Cameras similar competition. This permission extends to publication and reproduction for the above purposes in the media, on catalogues, posters, postcards, publications, on the internet (including on the competition website and the Ted’s Cameras website). Where possible, entrants will receive credits with each use
15. In the event that Ted’s Cameras wishes to use a photograph for a period longer than three years or outside the scope of the purposes described above, Ted’s Cameras will contact the entrant to ask for consent
16. By submitting an entry to the competition, an entrant warrants that he/she was the sole photographer responsible for taking or otherwise creating each photograph and that he/she is the sole owner of the copyright to such photograph. By entering the competition, the entrant confirms that all persons appearing in the photograph have consented to the entrant submitting the photo as part of this competition
17. By submitting an entry, all entrants are deemed to have agreed to and shall be bound by these Terms and Conditions
NON-ELIGIBILITY
18. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter
19. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights
20. Incomplete and indecipherable entries and any entry which has incorrectly entered personal information or contact details shall be deemed an invalid entry
21. Images that are considered unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, unduly sexually oriented, racially offensive, or that promote a commercial product or service, contain objectionable content or are otherwise considered inappropriate will be deemed invalid and rejected in the absolute discretion of the Promoter
22. Any photograph that has won a prize previously from a Ted’s Cameras promotion or competition is not eligible for entry
WINNERS
23. Entries will be judged by a judging panel between Monday 10 January 2011 and Sunday 16 January 2011, 23:59 (AEST)
24. The Prizes (as defined below) will be awarded to the top two entrants as decided by the judging panel and by compliling the image with the most public ratings
25. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. The Promoter may select additional reserve entries according to the next highest amount of votes in the case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is selected as a winner
26. The decision of the voting and Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into between the Promoter and the entrants in this respect
27. Winners will be contacted by the Promoter within five (5) business days after the end date of the Competition
28. Winners will be announced on the website

29. The Prizes shall be: First prize- Judge's Choice: Pentax Kr Kit. RRP: $850 Second prize - Public Choice: Pentax Optio RZ10 RRP: $250
30. Prizes are not transferable and no cash alternative is available
