Terms & Conditions for Focus TDU Competition 2011
ELIGIBILITY:
This competition is open to any person resident in Australia who is 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Green Apple Sports or its affiliates, subsidiaries, dealers, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, and spouse and life partners).

enquiry@focusbikes.com.au and submit your name, postal address, email address, phone number, plus the Model, Serial Number, Store Name and Purchase receipt number of the Focus Bike purchased in accordance with these terms and conditions. No purchase, equals no entitlement to entry. Entry will only be accepted based on a purchase from a Focus Dealer as listed on the
www.focusbikes.com.au website; purchase of a Focus Bike from outside the Australian Dealer base will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of Green Apple Sports. Entry constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Focus reserves the right to disqualify anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
TIMING:
This competition runs from 12.00:01am AEST on 1st December 2010. The closing date of this competition is 11.59:59pm AEST on 10th January 2010. The purchase of any Focus bike in line with the terms and conditions as outlined, during this time will be accepted, regardless of year model of bike purchased. Completed entries must be emailed no later than the closing date.
USE OF DATA:
Personal data which you provide when you enter this competition will not be used for future Focus marketing activity.
SELECTION OF WINNERS:
The winner will be drawn on the 12th January and contacted on this date. The winner will be notified by email by 12th January 2010. The winner may be required to become involved in further publicity or advertising. The recipient of the prize will be expected to provide dates of travel in accordance with these terms and conditions on the 12th of January.
PRIZE:
The prize will constitute the following:
1. Return airfares for two from your closest capital city to Adelaide – capital cities are limited to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth, Hobart and Darwin. Travel to the capital city of the winner’s choice will be at the winners own expense – Airfares will include the standard allowed baggage allowance of 23kg, any excess baggage fee will be at the winners expense. Dates of Travel, will be between the 15th Jan 2011 and the 24th Jan 2011 to the capital city of the winner – flights will be return from the same city. Prize recipients will be transported to and from Adelaide airport to the hotel. If the prize recipients choose to travel by hire car, public transport or taxi these costs will be at their own expense. Any additional travel during the prize recipients stay in Adelaide will be at their own expense.
2. Two nights’ accommodation in Adelaide – will be supplied and booked as part of the prize on consecutive nights between the 15th January 2011 and the night of the 23rd of January 2011. The hotel will be chosen at the discretion of Green Apple Sports and will be of at least 3 stars in standard, dependent on availability. Any additional costs incurred during the winners stay at the hotel provided as part of this prize will be paid by the winners, including and limited to use of chargeable hotel facilities, restaurant, mini bar and any other additional expenses incurred at the hotel.
3. Two VIP tickets to the Adelaide Classic or Stage 6 – 2 VIP tickets provided to either the Down Under Classic or Stage 6 of the 2011 Tour Down Under. VIP tickets to be provided to the winner during the period of the stay not transferable to another person or persons.
4. Two seats in the Focus publicity car prior to the race – will be made available for the day chosen by the winner to attend the VIP area.
5. Signed team Katusha jersey – will be provided to the winner of this competition signed by some or all of the members of Team Katusha’s 2011 Tour Down Under team. Depending on team commitments, the signed jersey may be provided at a later date.
Prizes as stated are non transferable. No cash or other alternatives available. The prize is not redeemable for cash or any other product, if the prize as outlined is not taken up by the winner it will be deemed as provided and not be passed on. The prize must be used between the 15th January 2011 and 24th January 2011.
WINNERS LIST:
The winner consents to their surname being made publicly available. The winners’ names will be available for a period of 2 months after the closing date by email request.
OTHER:
No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this competition or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, Focus’s decision shall be final. Green Apple Sports reserve the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this competition at any time without notice.
