I was born in Texas in 1945 and got my big break in show business in my early twenties - a job writing for a comedy TV show.  As part of the writing team, I won an Emmy and was soon writing for all the big shows, including The Sonny & Cher Show.  I also did stand-up comedy and became a regular on Saturday Night Live in 1979.  I starred in my first major movie, The Jerk, and since then I've made a number of hit films, including The Pink Panther and Cheaper By The Dozen.  One of Hollywood's most respected comedy writers and actors.  I am Steve who?
