More classic Doctor Who action coming your way this month courtesy of the good folk at BBC DVD, this time out it is vintage Tom Baker story Meglos and to celebrate it’s arrival on DVD we have four copies for you to win!
The story takes us to Tigella where war is brewing between two rival factions – The Savants and The Deons, who can’t agree on the key issue of who is in charge of the Dodecahedron – the device that controls the planets energy source. Tigellan leader Zastor decides to seek the Doctor’s help but it seems he is already having trouble with evil bad guy Meglos who is out to steal the energy source for himself.
Written by Andrew McCullough and John Flanagan Meglos is very great fun indeed, as always it is packed full of extras that include audio commentaries, documentaries and features, behind the scenes info, production info subtitles, PDF material from the Radio Times and a picture gallery.
