THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA THE COMPLETE COLLECTION DVD GIVEAWAY

BBC DVD / Region 4 / Released January 2011

The BBC’s much loved 1980′s adaptations of C.S. Lewis’s Narnia novels gets a very nice box set treatment this month and thanks to the lovely folk at BBC DVD we have four copies to give away!

With their lavish budgets, attention to detail and all star casts the BBC pulled out all the stops for these four Sunday afternoon serials, the action begins, as it should, with The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe with the four Penvensie children being evacuated to the country during World War Two and discovering the magical world of Narnia through the back of a wardrobe. The action continues with Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and The Silver Chair. Gorgeous stuff that entertains right across the ages.

The four disc set also has lots of great bonus features that include behind the scenes featurettes, footage from popular BBC children’s magazine show Blue Peter, out-takes, trivia, a history of Narnia, a history of C.S. Lewis and a photo gallery of set design images.

Our competition runs until January 31, 2011. To be in with a chance to win one of four dvds of  The Chronicles of Narnia: The Complete Collection all you have to do is tell us who composed the wonderful music for the series? Also don’t forget about our rather splendid daily newsletter. If you haven’t signed up for this yet then what are you waiting for, a daily hit of all the latest stories, comps, reviews, features and news happening in the world of Memorable TV.

Entries must be sent to competition@memorabletv.com and must be titled “Chronicles of Narnia”. Good Luck!

I would say: Harry Gregson-Williams and David Arnold

Gregson-Williams scored The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, as well as the second installment in the series, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. (David Arnold is under contract for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.)

Composer David Arnold scored the film, with themes composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (who scored the first two films).

I believe the question is actually asking about the BBC series of Narnia (which is what the prize is).
The composer of the BBC Narnia series was Geoffrey Burgon.
