1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into the promotion is
deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.

Entry is open to all Australian residents, excluding employees and immediate families of the Promoter,
participating outlets and their agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences Monday 1st November 2010 at 00.01 (EST)
and concludes Thursday 31st March
2011 at 23:59 (EST).4. To enter simply purchase one of the specially marked G.Loomis Fishing Rod, Shimano Fishing Reel &
PowerPro Braid Combo’s displayed at participating tackle stores to receive an official competition entry
card. Scratch the card to reveal your unique entry code. Go to

code and complete the entry form during the promotional period to go into the draw for your chance to win one of
seven Ultimate Fishing Combos.

The first seven randomly draw entries will each win an ultimate fishing combo. Consisting of 1 x G.Loomis NRX
822S 6”10” 6-12 lb rod, 1 x Shimano Stella 2500FE reel and 1 x 300m spool of 8lb, white PowerPro braid. Each
combo is valued at $1,800 each (Recommended Retail Price including GST).
6. Total national prize pool is $12,600.7. Entrants aged under 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter the
promotion and provide personal information about themselves. All entries of entrants who are under the age
of 18 years and enter the promotion without disclosing (or attempting to conceal) their age (as and where
required) and/or do not provide the required parental consent (as and where required) will be deemed invalid.
These Conditions of Entry will bind the entrant and any parent or legal guardian who gives their consent (for
entrants aged 18 years and under).
8. If any prize winner is aged under 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian who
consented to the winner entering the promotion on behalf of the winner.
9. The draw will take place at 36 Bay Road, Taren Point NSW 2229 on Friday 8th April 2011 at 12 noon (EST).
Seven winners will be drawn from the national pool of entries. Winners will be notified by telephone, email
and their names will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian on Wednesday 20th April
2011 as well as
www.theultimatefishingcombo.com.au. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence
will be entered into.
10. No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
11. The prize will be couriered to the winner’s daytime address by the promoter.
12. Proof of purchase: Each eligible entrant must retain and may be required to present proof of each eligible
purchase in order to claim a prize. Entrants may be requested to provide to the Promoter proof of purchase
for all entries made. If an entrant is unable to provide proof of purchase for all entries made within the
required timeframes, then all the entries of that entrant will be ineligible and deemed invalid. Proof of sale
includes providing a photocopy of the store receipt for each eligible purchase made during the promotional
period.
13. Alternate prizes: If a prize or element of a prize becomes unavailable, for any reason beyond the
Promoter’s reasonable control, then a comparable prize or prize element of equal or greater value will be
awarded to the winner in lieu, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory
legislation. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Prizes must be
taken as offered and cannot be varied. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the
value of the prize between publishing date and date the prize
is claimed.
14. Unclaimed prizes: The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as
are necessary on Friday 22nd July 2011 at 12:00pm (EST) in order to distribute any prize unclaimed by Friday
8th July 2011. The winner of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by telephone, email and their names
will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian on Wednesday 3rd August 2011

entrant produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the
Promoter’s satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm the entrant’s identity, age, residential or
email address, eligibility to enter and claim a prize and any information submitted by the entrant in entering
the promotion before issuing a prize. If the documentation required by the Promoter is not received by the
Promoter (or its nominated agent) or the entrant or entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoter’s
satisfaction within the time requested, that entry will be deemed invalid.
16. Liability: The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies shall not be liable for any loss
(including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is
suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person's negligence) in connection
with taking any prize or using any prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case
that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). It is a condition of accepting a prize that each winner
may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
17. Force Majeure: In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster)
or any other circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, subject to any written directions
made under applicable State or Territory legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to either provide an
alternative prize to the same value as the major and/or instant win prizes or to cancel, terminate, modify or
suspend the promotion.
18. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus,
bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper
conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify
or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant
for: (a) tampering with the entry process; (b) for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these
Conditions of Entry; or (c) if the entrant is engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated
to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages
or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
20. Consent to use: As a condition of entering this promotion, an entrant consents to the Promoter using
the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph,
film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further notification,
remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing this promotion
(including any outcome), and/or promoting any products or services manufactured, distributed and/or
supplied by the Promoter. The entrant agrees that, in the event they are a winner, the entrant will participate
in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to the Promotion as requested by the Promoter and its agents.
21. An entry and any copyright subsisting in an entry irrevocably becomes, at the time of entry, the property of
the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about entrants to include entrants in the promotion
and where appropriate award prizes. If the personal information requested is not provided, the entrant may
not participate in the promotion. By participating in the promotion and voluntarily opting-in, each entrant
also acknowledges that a further primary purpose for collection of entrants’ personal information by the
Promoter is to enable the Promoter to use the information to assist the Promoter in improving goods and
services and to contact entrants in the future with information on special offers or provide entrants with
marketing materials via any medium including mail, telephone and commercial electronic messages (SMS
(Short Message Service), MMS (Multimedia Message Service), IM (Instant Messaging) and email) or any
other form of electronic, emerging, digital or conventional communications channel whether existing now or
in the future. By entering the promotion and voluntarily opting-in, each entrant agrees that the Promoter may
