WHO AM I?
I was born in New York in 1946.  During the early 1970s I lived on the breadline, taking jobs as an extra in Klute and the TV show Kojak.  After 5 years of hard slog, my life turned around when I wrote a script about a battling boxer, which won three Oscars and made me a huge star.  Over the next decade I made a number of sequels to this film and created another iconic action character - a troubled Vietnam vet called John Rambo.  Currently married to my third wife, Jennifer Flavin, with whom I have three daughters.
