Terms & Conditions - “The Green Hornet Promotion” – Village Cinemas Promotion
1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to all Victorian and Tasmanian residents who are 21 years of age and over and who are current Village Movie Club (VMC) members. VMC members must log in when purchasing tickets to „The Green Hornet‟ online at villagecinemas.com.au or scan their VMC card at the ticket box during the promotional period to automatically go into the draw to win.
3. The Promoter, other entities and agencies associated with this competition, their related bodies corporate and each of their officers, agents, employees and immediate family of any of them are ineligible to enter. “Immediate family” means spouse, parent, child or sibling, whether or not they live in the same household as the employee.
4. By entering this promotion, Eligible Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
5. The competition commences at 12.01am AEST on 20/01/2011 and closes at midnight AEST on 02/02/2011 („Promotion Period‟).
6. To enter, Village Movie Club Members must have included all required Village Movie Club membership details, their name, address, email and phone details, and activated their membership card online at villagecinemas.com.au and purchase tickets to „The Green Hornet‟ online at villagecinemas.com.au or scan their VMC card at the ticket box during the promotional period
7. No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter for any ineligible or lost entries or entries submitted or received by the Promoter after the closing date. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions are incomplete, or submitted or received by the Promoter after the closing date will be declared void.
8. The competition prize draw for the winner will take place at 12.00pm AEST on 04/02/2011, at the office of the Promoter, located at Level 2 / 180 St Kilda Rd, St Kilda VIC 3182. Winner will be contacted immediately by phone and mail relying on contact details provided by the entrant. The winner will also be announced in The Sunday Herald Sun newspaper on 13/02/2010. The result of the prize draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other goods or services nor can they be re-sold. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value, performance, or availability of any prize. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the advertised prize for a prize of equivalent or greater retail value if, for any reason beyond the Promoter‟s control, the Promoters are not able to give the prize-winner the advertised prize, subject to State legislation. Any incidental costs relating to the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

12. Package is based on two adults. Prize winner‟s guest must be over the age of 21 years old on the date of travel
13. Accommodation is based upon two people sharing. Specified accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking. Winners are able to extend their trip at their own expense. Winners must have access to a personal email account on the internet. Alternatives may be offered for hotels, restaurants and tours are dependent on availability. US Visa‟s are the responsibility for the winner.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The winner and their companion must possess a valid Australian passport with minimum of (6) six months validity from the date of scheduled return to Australia. Eligible dates of travel are from April to June 2011 or 7 September to 15 December 2011 (except national holidays). Car hire is included for the duration of the trip. Pick up and drop off at Los Angeles airport. Driver must be 21 years of age and have held a license for at least 1 year. Includes: airport surcharges, collision and water damage, supplementary insurance, liability insurance, theft waiver protection, third party liability insurance, unlimited mileage and loss water damage. Transfers will be provided for non drivers and their travel companion. It is the responsibility of the winner and their companion to ensure that they have full and correct documentation for travel. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be held responsible for any loss or delay that may occur as a result of any passport or visa not being produced for travel.
14. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner. The winner (and their companions) are responsible for all expenses including but not limited to spending money, meals (other than that specified), drinks (other than that specified), incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls, activities, insurance (other than that specified), taxes (except departure taxes which will be included), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, travel insurance (in excess of $150) and all other ancillary costs. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges.
15. Flights leave from any Australian capital city and land in Los Angeles, USA. Return flights from Los Angeles to any Australian capital city. The winner and their travelling companion must travel on the same flight.
16. Flights and accommodation are subject to availability at the time of booking, are
non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for travel to other destinations. If the winner and their travelling companion wish to extend their trip they will be able to do so at their own expense.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize in the event of an entrant failing to comply with these terms and conditions or forfeiting or not claiming the prize by 04/05/2011. If the prize remains unclaimed by that date, a second draw will be held at 12.00pm AEST on 20/05/2011 at the same location as the original draw. Disposal of any unclaimed prizes may be made subject to any written directions given by any government authority and pursuant to any relevant legislation. All unclaimed prize draw winners will be contacted by phone and mail immediately. Any winner/s will also be announced in The Sunday Herald Sun newspaper on 29/05/2011.
18. The Promoter, other entities associated with this competition and their related bodies corporate, and each of their officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for and shall be held harmless in respect of any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or sustained, as a result of or arising from the winner‟s acceptance and use of the prize, except to the extent that any such liability cannot be excluded by law.
19. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Acceptance of the prize is deemed to be acceptance by the winner of these terms and conditions and approval to use the winner‟s name and photograph for publicity purposes, unless specifically requested by the winner not to do so at the time of accepting the prize.
20. If the competition does not run for its duration due to, but not limited to, computer viruses, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the Promoter‟s control that corrupts or affects administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter will not be responsible for:
(a) Malfunction, delay or traffic congestion on any telephone network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website;
(b) Failure of any entry to be received by the Promoter as a result of those matters; nor
(c) Any injury or damage to entrants or any other person related to or resulting from
participation in the competition or downloading any materials relating to the competition.
