Call it the sounds of summer, Stereosonic in a CD; Onelove's Sonic Boom Box is just pure electronic bliss. The three-disc compilation, mixed by Calvin Harris, Acid Jacks and Andy Murphy is perfect for taking your headspace out of your work box, and onto your metaphoric dance floor of choice.
As you'd expect, all the so-hot-right-now tracks have been packed in, as have some tight crossfades from the boys. Andy's shiny piece of chrome holds an uplifting, bubblectro-house mix of fun, perfectly encapsulated by Olav Basoski's I Feel So…. Bringing the BOOM and a little bit of jungle is Calvin Harris, stamping his superstar DJ status with a classy techno-electro edition. Acid Jacks uses the “You don't need to know the artist's name to know it's good” approach with his sound selection, all in all giving fans an out-of-the box dance compilation.
