Pushover 2011



Victoria’s longest-running all ages live music festival Push Over returns to Melbourne’s Abbotsford Convent on Sunday 13 March. And if you want to join the line up, here's your chance!

triple j Unearthed and The Push are offering one lucky band from Melbourne the awesome opportunity to play alongside a killer line-up of Aussie talent including Break Even, Children Collide, Dream On Dreamer, House Vs Hurricane, Howl, Gold Fields, Illy, Oh Mercy, Stonefield, The Tongue and many more!

The winning band will also receive a $250 performance fee and a prime time slot at the festival!

To be in the running you just need to have your tracks uploaded (either pending or live) on the site before Sunday 20th February 2011, and have VIC selected as your state. If you have tracks on the site already, are automatically eligible.

Terms and conditions
1.The Unearthed Artist Agreement and General Competition terms and conditions apply to this competition.
2.This competition starts 9am AEST on Monday 26th January 2011 and closes at midnight AEST Sunday 20th February 2011.
3.All VIC artists with tracks uploaded to triplejunearthed.com during this time will be eligible and the winners will be chosen by a panel of triple j experts including the music director, Richard Kingsmill. We will be picking one winner from VIC. The winner will be picked based on their ability to deliver a good live performance suitable for an all ages Push Over audience.
4.The winners will be announced in accordance with the General Terms & Conditions in February 2011.
5.The prize consists of the following:
◦An opportunity to perform at the Push Over Festival, Melbourne
◦Performance fee of $250 AUD
◦Total prize value estimated at $250 AUD
6.The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
7.No replacement will be offered in the event that the prize cannot be claimed on the stipulated dates.
8.Transportation or accommodation to the venue is not provided.
9.In the event that the winner of the competition is under the age of 18 years, a guardian over the age of eighteen years must accompany the winner at the guardian’s expense.
10.Judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
•As a winner, you will be representing triple j at this event. As such you are obligated to behave responsibly and professionally and comply with the rules and requests that triple j and the event organisers ask of you. This includes turning up on time, sticking to your designated area and not helping yourself to other artists' riders. Failure to do so (and trust us, we'll hear about it) will result in triple j withdrawing our support of your band.
