"STUDENT FLIGHTS – O-Week 2011 COMPETITION" TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents who reside in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Australian Capital Territory, Queensland or Western Australia,
who over 18 years of age and who will be between the ages of 18 and 38 at the time of travel, and who meet the eligibility criteria outlined at condition 5.
3. The directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoters, their related entities, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter the promotion.
How to Enter
4. To qualify for the draw, 'eligible persons' must complete an entry form online at
www.studentflights.com.au or at any participating O-Week event during the promotional period.
5. 'Eligible persons' must meet the following criteria"

Entrants must be able to travel on a Topdeck scheduled departure before 30 June 2011. 6. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoters. Incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. Entries must be received by the Promoters during the promotional period. The Promoters accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
Details of Prizes
7. There will be one (1) automated prize draw, generating one (1) winner.
8. The winner will receive the following two (2) prizes:

Duration of the 'Promotional Period'
11. The competition will commence at 9:00am (AEST) on Tuesday 1 February 2011.
12. The competition will close 11.59pm (AEST) on Saturday 5 March 2011.
13. Date, Time and Place of Draw The competition will be drawn using an electronic drawing method supplied by randomizer.org.

18. All reasonable steps to notify the winner of the results of the draw will be taken by the Promoters. The Promoters' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Unclaimed Prize Draw
20. If despite reasonable efforts made by the promoter to notify the winner of their prize an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted at 11am (AEST) on Monday 28 March 2011 at Flight Centre Head Office, 545 Queen Street, Brisbane QLD 4000.
21. The prize winner of any unclaimed prize draw will be notified by telephone and email on Monday 28 March 2011.
22. The results will also be published on
www.studentflights.com.au within 24 hours of the draw.
23. The results of any unclaimed prize draw for this promotion will be published in The Australian on Thursday 31 March 2011.
No Liability
24. The winner is responsible for their entry, and the entry of their travel companion, including the obtaining at the winner's and travel companion's expense, and holding, of any necessary authorisations, passports and visas. The winner and their travel companion are responsible for obtaining (and the cost of obtaining) medical advice prior to taking the prize and obtaining any recommended vaccinations and immunisations in the manner required before travelling.
25. Taking the prize is subject to any prevailing terms and conditions of the applicable airline operator and event organisers, as well as any accommodation/transport/services/transfers travel insurance or tour providers, and in particular, health, behaviour, age and safety requirements. No compensation will be payable if the winner, or their travel companion, are unable to use any element of the prize as stated for whatever reason, including refusal of entry or point of departure or participation in certain activities for health, age, behaviour or safety reasons. Any part of a prize that is not taken for any reason is forfeited.

The winner must be able to travel for the period 15 April 2011 – June 30 2011 (inclusive). The Promoter will confirm the specific travel dates with the winner at a later date. No extension or variation of the travel dates nominated by the Promoters will be permitted. The winner and their travel companion will not accrue any frequent flyer points from taking the prize. All components of the prize must be taken together. Any element of the prize not taken will be deemed to be forfeited. Accommodation and travel is subject to booking, accommodation and flight availability. Blackout periods may apply. Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the winner and their travel companion. Travel and accommodation is to be arranged by a licensed travel agent nominated by the Promoters.
27. The entrant whose entry was drawn in accordance with these Conditions of Entry must confirm their eligibility to be awarded the prize within seven (7) days of being successfully notified by the Promoters that they have been drawn, otherwise their entry will be deemed invalid. If their entry is deemed invalid, the Promoters will draw another entrant at the same time and place as the original draw and repeat this process until an eligible entrant is drawn.
28. Entrants can only enter in their own name. The Promoters reserve the right to request an entrant produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoters' satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm the entrant's identity, age, residential address and email address, eligibility to enter and claim a prize and any information submitted by the entrant in entering the promotion, before issuing a prize. If the documentation required by the Promoters is not received by the Promoters (or their nominated agent) or the entrant or entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoters' satisfaction within the time requested, that entry will be deemed invalid. The prize will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoters require in its sole discretion.
29. The Promoters reserve the right to request the winner's travel companion/s to produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoters' satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm their identity and age before issuing a prize.
30. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner (and their travel companion/s) may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoters in their absolute discretion.
31. The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person's negligence) in connection with taking any prize or using any prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). The Promoters and their agents associated with this promotion take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit.
32. The Promoters will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoters including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures.
33. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
34. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster) or any other circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation, the Promoters reserve the right to either provide an alternative travel prize (including an alternative destination at an alternative date as specified by the Promoters) to the same value as the original prize or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
35. If the prize or any element of the prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoters' reasonable control, then a similar prize or prize element of equal or greater value (including an alternative travel prize at an alternative date as specified by the Promoters) will be awarded to the winner in lieu, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation.
36. The Promoters reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for: (a) tampering with the entry process; or (b) for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry; (c) or if the entrant is engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoters' legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
37. Any attempt, deliberate or otherwise, to cause malicious damage or interference with the normal functioning of the Promotional Websites or the information on the Promotional Websites, or to otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, whether successful or not, the Promoters reserve the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. If the Promoters suffer loss or incurs any costs in connection with any breach of these Conditions of Entry or any other legal obligation by an entrant, the entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoters for those losses, damages and costs.

If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoters reserve the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation.

42. As a condition of entering this promotion, an entrant consents to the Promoters using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing this promotion (including any outcome), and/or promoting any products or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoters.
