The material on Swings & Roundabouts reinforces that The Sunburys can put together no-nonsense rock that continues to grow on you the more you listen to it. Songs like ‘Lock It Away Revisited’, ‘Leave Me At The Station’ and Vengeance get the feet tapping, while the acoustic track, ‘Hold On To Me’, and the slower electric track, ‘The Cricket’s On The Radio’, provide some light and shade.
