Great prizes are up for grabs in CANEGROWERS’ make a movie for thecanetube competition. All you have to do is make a short video about the sugarcane industry and the best entry will be awarded some sweet prize money.

WHAT IT NEEDS TO BE ABOUT
Submit a short, entertaining video segment showcasing advances made by Aussie sugarcane growers using the latest technology and practices - and how the sugarcane industry forms an important place in the strength of our nation.
As long as it is rated G, is under 2 minutes, is a positive piece featuring farming relevant content including the good practices being supported by the Australian Government’s Reef Rescue program, your video can take any style – it could be a music video, a comedy skit, a cartoon, a documentary, to name just a few ideas.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY
Videos can be submitted either via mail or electronically.
• Please include your name, address, telephone number and email address with your competition entry. Teachers must provide their school and name for school prize entries.
• Mail your DVD to CANEGROWERS CaneTube Competition GPO Box 1032 Brisbane QLD 4001 or
• Send your video electronically via the YOUSENDIT file transfer service. Address your YOUSENDIT file to
info@canegrowers.com.au (Note charges might apply depending on upload file size)
• Preferred video formats: H264, MPEG2, MPEG4, MOV, AVI, WMV, FLV
• Aspect Ratio: Native aspect ratio without letterboxing (examples: 4:3,16:9)
• Resolution: 1280x720 (16:9) or 640x480 (4:3) recommended
• Audio format: MP3 or AAC preferred
• Frames per second: 30
• Maximum Length: 2 minutes
• Maximum file size: 1 GB

Conditions of entry:
•Video entries must be a maximum of 2 minutes and feature visual content.
•Entries must be G-rated to be eligible – CANEGROWERS reserves the rights to not post any entry on its website or YouTube based on content which is not suitable for children or does
•not carry appropriate messaging as per the competition.
