Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older and who enter the promotion in the required manner. Eligible entrants are limited to subscribing to the Travel Associates email newsletter once and obtaining one (1) entry in the promotion in the manner set out in Condition 3. Any entry gained by way of subscribing to the Travel Associates newsletter after the first valid entry received will be deemed invalid. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoters. Incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. Entries must be received by the Promoters during the promotional period. The Promoters accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
Any costs associated with accessing the promotional websites remain the responsibility of each entrant and are dependent on the internet service provider used. Any contact details entered incorrectly on the Promotional Websites shall be deemed invalid and will result in an ineligible entry.

The competition commences at 9:00am (AEST) on Friday, 11 February 2011 and closes at Midnight (AEST) on Thursday, 31 March 2011.

The prize draw will take place at 11am (local time) on Friday, 1 April 2011 at Flight Centre Head Office, 545 Queen Street, Brisbane QLD 4000.
The prize winners will be notified by telephone and mail or email on Monday, 4 April 2011, published in The Australian on Friday, 15 April 2011 and published on
www.travel-associates.com.au after the draw date. All reasonable steps to notify the winners of the results of the draw will be taken by the Promoters. The Promoters' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
There will be two (2) prizes awarded as follows: The first eligible entry randomly drawn from all eligible entries received will win the following prize:

Spending money will be determined by the number of people the prize winner has referred to subscribe to Travel Associates email newsletters as a new subscriber. Each eligible referral will be eligible for AUD$200 increments. Five eligible referrals with a valid and existing email address is worth AUD$1,000 towards the prize winner's spending money. Ten eligible referrals with a valid and existing email address is worth AUD$2,000 towards the prize winner's spending money. There will be a maximum of AUD$2,000 spending money. If the prize winner does not refer any new subscribers with a valid and existing email address, the amount of spending money will equal zero.

If the winner is unable to travel on the desired date, the prize can be transferred to a family member or friend. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash.
All other costs associated with the prize including hotel transfers, meals, beverages, laundry services, spending money, transport to and from departure point, taxes (including any applicable arrival and departure taxes), insurance, travel insurance, passports, visas and all other ancillary costs not expressly provided, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companion. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or special offers. Any passes and tickets issued as part of the prize are subject to prevailing terms and conditions of use and any tickets or passes are only valid for use within the stated duration on the passes or tickets issued or the duration of the winner's prize, whichever is earlier.
The winner is responsible for their entry, and the entry of their travel companion, including the obtaining at the winner's and travel companion's expense, and holding, of any necessary authorisations, passports and visas. The winner and their travel companion are responsible for obtaining (and the cost of obtaining) medical advice prior to taking the prize and obtaining any recommended vaccinations and immunisations in the manner required before travelling.
Taking the prize is subject to any prevailing terms and conditions of the applicable airline operator and event organisers, as well as any accommodation/transport/services/transfers travel insurance or tour providers, and in particular, health, behaviour, age and safety requirements. No compensation will be payable if the winner, or their travel companion, are unable to use any element of the prize as stated for whatever reason, including refusal of entry or point of departure or participation in certain activities for health, age, behaviour or safety reasons. Any part of a prize that is not taken for any reason is forfeited.
The winner must be able to complete their travel prize by 15 December 2011. The Promoter will confirm the specific travel dates with the winner following their acceptance of the prize. Valid for Qantas and Qantas Link services with a 'QF' flight number only, excluding code-share flights. Tickets are not upgradeable. Flights MUST be issued by 30 April 2011 for travel until 15 December 2011. Tickets are non refundable. The winner and their travel companion will not accrue any frequent flyer points from taking the prize. Change fees applicable to the fare booked apply. Any change fees are the responsibility of the prize-winner. Ticket must be booked 6 weeks prior to departure.
No extension or variation of the travel dates nominated by the Promoters will be permitted. All components of the prize must be taken together. Any element of the prize not taken will be deemed to be forfeited. Accommodation and travel is subject to booking, accommodation and flight availability. Blackout periods may apply. Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the winner and their travel companion. Travel and accommodation is to be arranged by a licensed travel agent nominated by the Promoters.
Safari conditions: valid for two adults for departure 01 Apr 11 - 30 Jun 11 (excludes Easter: 18 Apr - 01 May 11) OR 01 Nov 11 - 15 Dec 11 ONLY. Tour departs Nairobi every Thursday.
Voucher conditions: Must be used in conjunction with flights to Hong Kong in a Travel Associates store. Voucher is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash.
The entrant whose entry was drawn in accordance with these Conditions of Entry must confirm their eligibility to be awarded the prize within seven (7) days of being successfully notified by the Promoters that they have been drawn, otherwise their entry will be deemed invalid. If their entry is deemed invalid, the Promoters will draw another entrant at the same time and place as the original draw and repeat this process until an eligible entrant is drawn in accordance with Condition 23. If the Promoters are unable to notify any eligible entrant drawn, the procedures outlined in Condition 22 will apply.
Entrants can only enter in their own name. The Promoters reserve the right to request an entrant produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoters' satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm the entrant's identity, age, residential address and email address, eligibility to enter and claim a prize and any information submitted by the entrant in entering the promotion, before issuing a prize. If the entrant referred the promotion to friends and/or relatives in accordance with the above Conditions of Entry, the Promoters may require documentation (to the Promoters' satisfaction, in its sole discretion) confirming the identities, email addresses and such other details of the friends and/or relatives referred to the promotion as the Promoters consider appropriate. If the documentation required by the Promoters is not received by the Promoters (or their nominated agent) or the entrant or entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoters' satisfaction within the time requested, that entry will be deemed invalid. The prize will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoters require in its sole discretion.
The Promoters reserve the right to request the winner's travel companion to produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoters' satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm their identity and age before issuing a prize.
It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner (and their travel companion) may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoters in their absolute discretion.
The Promoters may conduct such further draws at the same time and place as the original draw as are necessary on Friday 1 July 2011 in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date subject to any written directions given under applicable State or Territory legislation. In the event of any winner in the unclaimed prize draw, the winner will be notified by telephone and mail or email and their name and locality will be published in The Australian on Friday 15 July 2011.
Total maximum prize pool value is up to AUD$20, 329 (Recommended Retail Price including GST.) A prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. The prizes are not transferable, not exchangeable, not redeemable for other goods or services and cannot be taken as cash. Prize values are current as at the date of printing. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any variation in prize value. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person's negligence) in connection with taking any prize or using any prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). The Promoters and their agents associated with this promotion take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit.
The Promoters will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoters including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures.
The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster) or any other circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation, the Promoters reserve the right to either provide an alternative travel prize (including an alternative destination at an alternative date as specified by the Promoters) to the same value as the original prize or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
If the prize or any element of the prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoters' reasonable control, then a similar prize or prize element of equal or greater value (including an alternative travel prize at an alternative date as specified by the Promoters) will be awarded to the winner in lieu, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation.
The Promoters reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for:
tampering with the entry process; or
for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry;
or if the entrant is engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoters' legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
Caution: Any attempt, deliberate or otherwise, to cause malicious damage or interference with the normal functioning of the Promotional Websites or the information on the Promotional Websites, or to otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, whether successful or not, the Promoters reserve the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. If the Promoters suffer loss or incurs any costs in connection with any breach of these Conditions of Entry or any other legal obligation by an entrant, the entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoters for those losses, damages and costs.
The Promoters are not responsible for any problems, delays or technical malfunction of any telephone or network or lines, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on a network, or any combination thereof, or any other technical failures including any damage to entrant's or any other person's computer or peripherals related to, or resulting from, participation in this promotion or the downloading of any materials related to this promotion.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoters reserve the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation.
As a condition of entering this promotion, an entrant consents to the Promoters using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing this promotion (including any outcome), and/or promoting any products or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoters. The entrant agrees that, in the event they are a winner, the entrant will participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to the Promotion as requested by the Promoters and their agents.
