The very cool scifi meets western meets spy drama that is iconic 1960′s show The Wild Wild West is back on DVD this month with the release of season two in a seven disc set. To celebrate we have five copies to give away!
In the 1960′s the two most popular TV genres were Westerns and Spy dramas. The Wild Wild West cleverly combined the two, added in a nice line in wry humour and gave creator Michael Garrison and the CBS network a huge hit. Starring Ross Martin as Agent Artemus Gordon and Robert Conrad as Federal Agent James West the series follows the pair as they travel the west of the 1870′s in their own private train working directly for president Ulysses S. Grant.
Armed with all manner of gadgetry and weaponry the duo do battle (for the first time in colour) with all manner of power mad villains especially regular nemesis Dr Miguelito Loveless (played by Michael Dunn.
One of the all time great series from the golden age of TV!
