TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WESTFIELD WEST LAKES ‘WIN A WONDERFULLY WICKED EVENING’ COMPETITION
1. Instructions on ‘how to enter’ and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Entry is only open to an Australian resident who signs-up to the e-newsletter during the promotional period via the entry box, Concierge Desk or website.
2.2 Employees of the following (and their immediate family) are not eligible to enter: Westfield staff, retailers and tenants of participating Westfield shopping centres; and the agencies associated with this promotion.
3. HOW TO ENTER?
3.1 The promotion commences at 9am ACST Monday 28 February 2011 and entries close at 5pm ACST Sunday 1 May 2011 (“Promotion Period”).
3.2 To enter, simply sign-up to our e-newsletter via Concierge Desk or via the e-newsletter.
3.3 Only entries received at the competition entry point or Concierge Desk at Westfield West Lakes, or via the Westfield website will be accepted and only one entry per person is permitted.
3.4 It is a condition of entry that the entrant registers to the Westfield e-newsletter and Westfield Database.
4. JUDGING:
4.1 Winners of each prize will be selected at random. Prizes will be given away in order of value.
4.2 Judging will take place at 11am ACST Monday 2 May 2010 at Westfield Tea Tree Plaza.
4.3 The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. NOTIFICATION: The winner will be notified by phone and or email.
6. PRIZE DETAILS:
6.1 Total prize pool is $1725.80.
6.2 Prize description: Total prize pool consists of 2 x A-Reserve tickets to WICKED (not valid on Saturday evenings) ($219.80), one WICKED souvenir programme ($20), a backstage tour after the show ($500), dinner for two prior to the show at Jolleys Boathouse Restaurant ($141), one night’s accommodation at the InterContinental Adelaide – King Superior Room including breakfast for two ($250) M.A.C Cosmetics gift pack ($95), a Westfield gift card ($500)
6.3 The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
6.4 The prize winners must be available to collect their prize by 5pm ACST Friday 6 May 2011.
6.5 Prize winners are responsible for their own travel costs to reach the selected Westfield shopping centre in order to collect and redeem their prize.
6.6 If the prize winner is not available to collect the prize as set out in condition 6.4 above, the prize will be forfeited and redrawn. Westfield may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary on Monday 9 May 2010 in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date.
7. PRIZE TO A MINOR: If any winner is under the age of 18 years, that winner must be chaperoned by a parent or guardian to collect the prize.
8. DOCUMENTATION OF PRIZE WINNER: The Promoter may decide to name the prize winners on the westfield.com.au/westlakes website and by accepting the prize, the prize winners acknowledge and agree that Westfield may use their name and photograph for marketing and publicity purposes.
9. LATE ENTRIES: No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
10. LIABILITY: The Promoter, The Gordon Frost Organisation and WICKED AUSTRALIA shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained from the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
11. VARIATION: The Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at its sole discretion, orally or in writing, at any time throughout the competition.
12. INTERNET CLAUSE: If, for any reason, this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including as a result of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction of unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or another person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website, or to otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion, may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, whether successful or not, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. PRIVACY: In order to conduct this promotion, the Promoter needs to collect personal information about each entrant and obtain each entrant’s agreement in relation to handling this personal information. If you do not provide the information requested, you will not be entered into the competition. All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering the promotion, each entrant consents to the information they submit with their entry being entered into a database and the Promoter may use this information for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. All personal details of the entrants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office. Upon the entrants request, all information provided will be removed from our active database. Information will be removed as soon as reasonably possible in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
