ECKERSLEY’S CANVAS PROMOTION LOTTERY TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. To enter customers must spend over $30 in-store to go in the draw to win. 2. To enter, complete the official entry form and hand it to Eckersley’s staff in-store during the promotional period. Entries can be submitted at any of Eckersley's 23 stores nationwide [ACT, VIC, NSW, QLD and SA]. 3. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, participating suppliers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. 4. Promotion commences 04/04/2011. Entries close at close of store trading on 8/05/2011. The draw will take place at Suite 5, 50 Atchison Street, St Leonards, NSW 2065 on 18/05/2011 at 5pm AEST. 5. The winner will be notified in writing as well as published in The Australian newspaper on the 23/05/2011. Winning entries will also be posted on our website at

Multiple entries accepted per person but each entry requires a completed entry form. Minimum spend of $30 applies for each entry. 7. The winning entry will be manually selected at random. 8. There is 1 prize in total to be won – Into the Blue Creative Walks ‘Painting the Desert’ with Carol Ruff experience for two (2) people including two (2) nights’ accommodation at Alice Springs resort (twin share, includes breakfasts), five (5) nights desert camp under the stars (all equipment supplied), all coach transport plus shuttle to and from Alice Springs Airport, all workshops with facilitator Carol Ruff, all cooked breakfasts, morning & afternoon teas, lunches, dinners and snacks on the track, Araluen Arts Centre & Namatjira Gallery entry as well as return airfares for two (2) to Alice Springs from either Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne or Adelaide airports. Total prize is valued at over $7,300. This prize must be taken on 3rd September – 10th September 2011 only and is not transferrable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
10. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
11. Parental permission should be sought to enter this competition. Should the winner of the prize be under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian.
12. The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draws as necessary on 28/07/2011 at 10am AEST in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date. In the event of any new winners identified, they will be notified in writing as well as published in The Australian newspaper on the 1/8/2011.
13. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
14. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. 15. The Promoter reserves the right to request winner to provide proof of age, identity and residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.

Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (incl. photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
17. Prizes are not exchangeable for other goods and services or redeemable in cash. In the event that any component of the prize is unavailable for any reason, subject to state legislation, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize component with another prize of equal value and the prize winner will be notified accordingly.
