Works Must Be
Concept Radical is open to all mediums of art, whether it be painting, graphic and digital art, short film, sculpting, drawing, photography and the like.

Works need to relate to the artists’ impression of free radicals.

Artists are invited to approach the theme of free radicals in whatever way best suits both their practice and their attitude to research: positively or critically, directly or indirectly. The aim of the prize is to encourage artists to develop their practice, with an increased awareness of free radicals and their impact. For more information about free radicals, see Free Radicals - information and ideas.

Artists must submit a digital image or file (jpg or mpg recommended of no greater than 8MB) of their work to the online gallery (for more details see Enter Competition).

Finalists will be contacted to provide a high quality print digital image of their work for exhibition. The print must not be larger than 8’’x10” or A4, or if a film or 3D image the file size must be smaller than 8MB (jpg or mpg recommended). Do not send a printed digital image until contacted. Every attempt will be made to exhibit all entries however this will be dependent on the number of entries.

Please note the digital image of your work will be judged not the work itself. Do not send your actual works. Artists who do not submit prints for exhibition upon request will not be eligible prizes. Winning entries will be selected by a group of judges at the exhibition, and prize recipients notified thereafter.
