Entry is subject to the following terms and conditions:
1) Entry is available to residents of Australia, except employees of Annabel Langbein Media, HarperCollins Publisher, their trade customers and their immediate families, who are not permitted to enter. You must be over the age of 18 to enter. Annabel Langbein Media reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.
2) The competition closes on 31 July 2011. Entries must be received by 11.59pm on 31 July 2011.
3) To enter you must purchase a copy of Annabel Langbein The Free Range Cook from a participating retail store and complete the online entry form at
www.annabel-langbein.com. Here you must write in 25 words or less why you think you are the ultimate foodie and enter the receipt number and store name (eg Dymocks). Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase as we’ll need to verify this if you are the winner.
4) All entries will be read and the winner will be selected based on the creativity of their entry, on 12 August. Attempts will be made to notify the winner by telephone and email within 7 days after the draw. If Annabel Langbein Media having used reasonable efforts is unable to contact a winner before 11.59pm on 26 August the winner’s prize will be forfeited and a further winner will be selected.
5) The winning prize consists of: a) two adult return Economy Class flights on Air New Zealand travelling on ‘The Works’ product from either Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Perth or Cairns in Australia to Queenstown, New Zealand. The tickets are inclusive of taxes and must be redeemed by 30 September 2011. Travel must be taken between 31 October – 10 December 2011 or 20 January – 5 April 2012. An extension of the travel period is not permitted. When reserving travel, redemption is subject to availability (i.e. at the time of booking there must be seats available on the flights). The flight tickets are non-negotiable and are not permitted to be upgraded. Prize winners must travel together on the one itinerary. The tickets cannot be converted into cash and are available on Air New Zealand services only. All travel is subject to Air New Zealand’s standard conditions of contract, standard conditions of carriage, applicable tariffs and regulations prevailing at the time of travel. Air New Zealand reserves the right to change such terms and conditions at any time. The tickets will not be eligible to accrue Airpoints Dollars and cannot be used in conjunction with Airpoints in either Air New Zealand’s or any other carriers’ Frequent Flyer schemes. b) 6-day Avis car rental ex Queenstown Airport in up to a Group D vehicle, including unlimited kilometres and motor vehicle insurance. 6) The winner’s prize is valid from 31 October – 10 December 2011 or 20 January – 5 April 2012 and all prizes must be redeemed on or before this date. All prize components must be booked in advance and all bookings are subject to availability.
7) Travel to the applicable airport in Australia, valid passports, departure taxes, domestic transport or transfers, optional tours, vaccinations, visas, re-entry permits, spending money, meals and travel insurance and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise stated. We recommend that you take out travel insurance.
Where a component of a prize is awarded in the form of a pass or ticket, the redemption of the prize is subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the pass or ticket. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any pass/ticket/voucher which is lost, stolen, damaged, forged or tampered with in any way.
9) The prize cannot be transferred, taken separately, or redeemed for cash.
