HOW TO CLAIM
a) To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase an eligible TomTom
GPS model (as stipulated below in Clause 9) from a participating reseller
in Australia between 15/04/2011 and close of business on 30/06/2011.
b) To claim, claimants must email a scanned copy of their proof of purchase
and the following details to

• Email Address
• Last 4 digits of the product barcode
• Map number and name (see clause 11)
All purchase receipts must show that GST has been paid when purchasing an
eligible TomTom GPS unit. Receipts that are received where GST has not been
included will render the claim invalid. Claims must be received by 11.59pm AEST
on 14th July 2011.
Within 10 working days you will receive an email reply with instructions on how to
download your map.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Instructions on how to claim and the reward form part of these Terms and
Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms
and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
2. Claims are only open to Australian residents only who hold a valid email account.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and
claimants (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to
disqualify any claimant who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these
Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the claim process. Errors and
omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter
to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those
rights.
4. Incomplete or indecipherable claims will be deemed invalid.
5. Multiple claims permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) claim
permitted per specified purchase requirement; and (b) each claim must be
submitted separately and in accordance with claim requirements.
6. Claimants must retain a photocopy of their purchase receipt(s) for all claims as
proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all claims when
requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of
ALL of a claimant’s claims and forfeiture of any right to a reward. Purchase
receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was
made during the promotional period but prior to claim.
7. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the
right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the claimant.
8. Promotion commences on 15/04/2011 and ends for purchase(s) at close of
business on 30/06/2011. Claims close at 11:59pm AEST on 14/07/2011. Valid
claimants will be notified via email. The Promoter’s decision is final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
9. Eligible models: TomTom Via 160 Australia, TomTom Via 180 Australia,
TomTom GO 1000 Australia, TomTom GO 1050 Australia and TomTom GO
1050 WORLD Australia. Refurbished models and online bidding or auction
websites purchases are excluded.
10. Every valid claim received will be awarded the map reward of one (1)
international map of the claimant’s choice from a list of available maps (as
outlined in clause 11 below) for their eligible GPS unit (as outlined in Clause 9
above) valued at up to AU$119.95. Maps not included on this list cannot be
claimed under this promotion.

12. Once a claimant’s email claim has been verified, the claimant will be sent, within
10 working days, an email with details on how to download their international
map of choice. The international map download will be valid for 12 months from
the date the international map is allocated. Not all countries will form part of the
available maps to download. The only maps available for download are those
outlined in Clause 11 above.
13. The map is available via electronic download only. Claimant must have access to
a computer with a broadband connection to download the map. Registration with
TomTom’s on-line systems is required to complete the download. The
international map download is subject to the claimants TomTom GPS unit space
availability. Not all maps are valued at AU$119.95, for maps less than
AU$119.95 the difference is not claimable or redeemable for cash. Map values
may change over time.
14. If the claimant’s chosen map reward is unavailable, the Promoter, in its
discretion, reserves the right to substitute the map with a map, or combination of
maps, to the equal value.
15. The map is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash,
unless otherwise specified.
16. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being
conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties,
unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any claimant; or
(b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
17. Any cost associated with redeeming the map reward is the claimant’s
responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
18. The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic means
that allows a claimant to automatically claim repeatedly is prohibited and will
render all claims submitted by that entrant invalid.
19. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to
limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under
the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties
under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and
Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability
that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the
Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all
liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage
(including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential,
arising in any way out of the promotion.
20. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-
Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers,
employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including
negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of
opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way
out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not
under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party
interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or
misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason
beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to
that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a
winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
21. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion
and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but
not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and reward suppliers. Claim
is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite
period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing,
publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages
or telephoning the claimant. Claimants should direct any request to access,
update or correct information to the Promoter. All claims become the property of
the Promoter.
