Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

Promotion commences on 21/04/2011 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on 21/08/2011 (“Promotional Period”).

To receive an automatic entry, individuals must sign up to the MyOaks E-Club during the Promotional Period. To sign up to the MyOaks E-Club, individuals must visit www.myoaks.com.au, follow the prompts to the sign up page, input the requested details and submit the fully completed sign up form.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

Only one (1) entry permitted per person.

The draw will take place at Anisimoff Legal, Suite 1, Level 1, 34 Chandos Street, St Leonards, NSW 2065 on 26/08/2011 at 10.00am AEST. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winner will be notified by in writing within two (2) days of the draw and their name will be published in The Australian on 02/09/2011. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The first valid entry drawn will win their choice of one (1) of the following holiday prizes:
a)a trip to Broome, WA for two (2) adults valued at up to AU$5,297 depending on date and point of departure. Prize includes return economy airfares from winner's nearest capital city to Broome, WA (if necessary) and five (5) nights twin share accommodation at the Oaks Broome; or
b)a trip to Queenstown, NZ for two (2) adults valued at up to AU$5,237 depending on date and point of departure. Prize includes return economy airfares from winner's nearest capital city to Queenstown, NZ and five (5) nights twin share accommodation at the Oaks Club Resort.

Spending money, meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Prize must be taken by 28/08/2012 and is subject to booking and flight availability. Prize cannot be taken during Australian school holidays, public holidays or other peak periods.

During the entire duration of the prize, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age. The winner and (and their companion/s) must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together.

Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. The winner may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.

If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

Total prize pool value is up to AU$5,297. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

A draw for the prize, if unclaimed, may take place on 28/11/2011 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. In the case of a winner, they will be notified in writing within two (2) days of the draw and their name will be published in The Australian on 05/12/2011.

Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

The prices are shown are per room per night for the numbers of persons and dates selected, unless otherwise indicated. Additional guests will be required to pay an extra per person per night rate of $37.00
Children 0 -12 years occupying the same room/unit with at least one adult and using existing bedding are Free of Charge. Additional charges will apply if extra beds or linen (including rollaways, sofa beds or cots) are required.
All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or an individual over the age of 18. The property has the right to refuse any booking when the legal parent/guardian over 18 cannot produce current photo ID.
Quotes and reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking. Any verbal quote given is an estimate only of the price, which will be subject to written advice on confirmation of the reservation.
Bookings can be made over the internet at www.oakshotelsresorts.com, www.theoaksgroup.com.au or www.theoaksgroup.co.nz
Payment for website bookings (both Standard and Hot Deals) is required in full at the time of making your reservation.
A confirmation email will be forwarded to your nominated email once the booking process is complete.
The person affecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted the booking conditions on behalf of all persons named in that booking.
Whilst we attempt to satisfy all special requests, we are unable to provide a guarantee.
Upon arrival at your selected property Guests must provide valid Federal or State government issued photographic identification for security purposes. In addition, the Guest must also provide a credit card in the name of the photographic ID to secure the accommodation. A Credit Card pre-authorisation is required to cover incidental items including (but not limited to): mini bar, telephone calls, breakages/damages, excessive cleaning charges above the normal level of cleaning due to the apartment being left in an unacceptable state, etc. This may also include an amount to cover a security bond / deposit for damages. The pre-authorised amount is set aside by the credit card company for a period of up to 10 working days (release times may vary, please check with the issuing financial institution). The pre-authorisation will affect your available funds balance or spending limit. For more information on this practice we suggest the cardholder contact their issuer. Once a pre-authorisation has been made, we cannot release, remove or lower the authorised amount, until we process the final account on departure. This is a restriction placed on us by the bank, and cannot be negotiated. Oaks Hotels & Resorts reserve the right to pre-authorise all credit cards upon arrival. Please note this process validates the presented credit card, and protects both the cardholder and merchant from increasing fraud incidents. Cash is not an acceptable form of bond when staying with Oaks Hotels and Resorts and a valid credit card will need to be presented on arrival.
Conversion into foreign currency is given as an indication and is not binding. Only the currency confirmed during your reservation is confirmed.
For rates allowing it, you may cancel your reservation according to the conditions for that rate. Please see at the end of this document your relevant cancellation and amendment conditions. To cancel your reservation, please contact your selected property direct.

Should there not be a property of equal or better grading in the vicinity of the original booking, it may be required to provide guests with a property of a lesser grading. If this is the case, any reduction in costs will be refunded to the guest.
The alternatives offered are at the Oaks Hotels & Resorts Limited discretion. Should the guest wish to choose a property of a standard other than offered under this condition, then the guest will be required to pay any difference.
Whilst the utmost care is taken to ensure that the description of facilities and services of Oaks Hotels & Resorts Limited is accurate, these are continually being changed, upgraded and on occasion taken out of service. If any feature/facility is essential for the guest in choosing a particular property, it is advisable that the guest checks with that property at the time of booking.
Oaks Hotels & Resorts Limited cannot be held liable for omissions or errors whether temporary or permanent of a property’s facilities and services.
Property room photos may not be specific to actual room allocated. Photos are indicative only. Destination images on Oaks Website may not represent the views offered from our locations.

Cancellation and Amendment Conditions for Oaks Website Bookings:
Standard Bookings – bookings made outside 28 days prior to arrival date:
If cancelled more than 28 days prior to arrival, no cancellation fee will apply.
If cancelled within 28 days of arrival, the first nights accommodation will be forfeited by the guest.
Last Minute Bookings – bookings made within 28 days of arrival date:
No cancellations or refunds are permitted to these bookings.
Last Minute ‘Flexi’ Rates:
Cancellations or changes to these bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to check in date and time or the first nights accommodation will be forfeited by the guest.
If you have chosen to stay at an “IStay” property, you will receive the best available unserviced rate.
You will have the choice of cleaning service options, at an additional cost upon check in at your Hotel.
If your length of stay is for more than 7 nights you will receive a complimentary full cleaning service in the middle of your stay.
Guests staying 8-12 days you will receive this service in the middle of your stay.
If you are staying more than 12 days you will receive this service every 7 days.
Amenities included in iStay properties: Tea/Coffee Starter Pack, Bath Towels, Bath Mat, Soap, as well as Kitchen consumables (Tea Towel, Cleaning Cloth, Dishwashing Liquid and Powder).             Cancellations or changes to these bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to check in date and time or the first nights accommodation will be forfeited by the guest.
    If you have chosen to stay at an “IStay” property, you will receive the best available unserviced rate.
        You will have the choice of cleaning service options, at an additional cost upon check in at your Hotel.
        If your length of stay is for more than 7 nights you will receive a complimentary full cleaning service in the middle of your stay.
        Guests staying 8-12 days you will receive this service in the middle of your stay.
        If you are staying more than 12 days you will receive this service every 7 days.
    Amenities included in iStay properties: Tea/Coffee Starter Pack, Bath Towels, Bath Mat, Soap, as well as Kitchen consumables (Tea Towel, Cleaning Cloth, Dishwashing Liquid and Powder). “MYOAKS SIGN UP AND WIN” PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

Promotion commences on 21/04/2011 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on 21/08/2011 (“Promotional Period”).

To receive an automatic entry, individuals must sign up to the MyOaks E-Club during the Promotional Period. To sign up to the MyOaks E-Club, individuals must visit www.myoaks.com.au, follow the prompts to the sign up page, input the requested details and submit the fully completed sign up form.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

Only one (1) entry permitted per person.

The draw will take place at Anisimoff Legal, Suite 1, Level 1, 34 Chandos Street, St Leonards, NSW 2065 on 26/08/2011 at 10.00am AEST. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winner will be notified by in writing within two (2) days of the draw and their name will be published in The Australian on 02/09/2011. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The first valid entry drawn will win their choice of one (1) of the following holiday prizes:

Prize must be taken by 28/08/2012 and is subject to booking and flight availability. Prize cannot be taken during Australian school holidays, public holidays or other peak periods.

During the entire duration of the prize, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age. The winner and (and their companion/s) must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together.

Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. The winner may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.

If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

Total prize pool value is up to AU$5,297. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

A draw for the prize, if unclaimed, may take place on 28/11/2011 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. In the case of a winner, they will be notified in writing within two (2) days of the draw and their name will be published in The Australian on 05/12/2011.

Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
