2. Entry is open to residents of Australia. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
3. To enter:
(a) Like our Roses Only Facebook page
(b) Complete and submit the online entry form during Entry Period including a response of 25 words or less to the following question: “Tell us in 25 words or less why your Mum deserves roses for this Mother’s day”.
Limit applies of one entry per person.
Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Entry Period. Entries received after 04/05/2011 will not be accepted.
4. The competition commences at 8:00am (EST) on Friday 15/04/2011 and closes at 8:59pm (EST) on Wednesday 04/05/2011 (“Entry Period”).
5. This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on relevance and authenticity. The best entry, as determined by the judges, will receive a prize.
6. Judging will take place at 12:00pm (EST) on Thursday 05/05/2011 Level 12, 60 Miller St, North Sydney NSW 2060. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges from Switched On Media and Roses Only.
7. Prizes consists of:
1st Prize
2 dozen South American Roses & Taittinger Champagne, plus MOR Marshmallow Gift Hamper. Total RRP value of prize = $589.95. All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
2nd Prize
2 dozen South American Roses plus MOR Marshmallow Gift Hamper. Total RRP value of prize = $489.95. All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
3rd Prize
1 dozen South American Roses plus MOR Marshmallow Gift Hamper. Total RRP value of prize = $389.95. All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
8. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The judges’ decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
9. In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
10. The winner will be notified by email on Friday 6/05/2011.
11. If the winner of a prize is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to winner’s parent or legal guardian.
12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of the winner and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.
14. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may modify the competition.
15. Entrants confirm and promise that their entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
16. By participating, entrants agree that ownership of and intellectual property in their entry are assigned to the Promoter. The entrant, or where an entrant is under the age of 18, the entrant’s parent or guardian, agrees to sign any further documentation required by the Promoter to effect this assignment.
17. By participating, entrants agree that their entry can possibly be published on the Promoter media and communication’s platforms (Website, Blog, Facebook Page).
18. Entries remain the property of the Promoter. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this competition (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the competition) and for promotional purposes surrounding this competition. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the Promoter on (1300767376) during office hours.
