When Doctor Faustus made his ill-fated decision to shake hands with a seemingly well-meaning devil incarnate, his actions were cemented in literary history. In amidst quenching his fierce thirst for knowledge, selling his soul to the devil, and getting himself caught up in numerous complicated situations, Faustus is a busy man. Adapted by Michael Gow, and co-produced by Bell Shakespeare, the Queensland Theatre Company re-tells the tale of Faustus, in a powerful mix of choreography, music and multimedia. Staged at Brisbane Powerhouse, the performance questions our timeless obsession with power, wealth, love and knowledge.

This competition is a promotion run by The Road Ahead Publishing Co Pty Ltd ABN 72 009 716 465 (“Promoter”).
Entries and information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible.
Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
The competition is open to residents of QueenslandEmployees and their immediate families of the Promoter and related entities of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
Competition will be drawn at RACQ.
Winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prize components may alter at the discretion of the Promoter. Any change in the value of the prize between the publishing date and the date prizes are claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
In the case of travel prizes, travel insurance, spending money and other ancillary costs are the winner’s responsibility. The prize is subject to booking availability and all other relevant terms and conditions.
The winners will be notified by email. Prizes will be posted or couriered to winners as appropriate.
In the event that a redraw is required, it will be held at RACQ, three weeks after the original draw date and the redrawn winner/s will be notified by email.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition.
