Aunties & Uncles, operated by CareSouth south of
Sydney, links community volunteers with children up
to 12 years of age from families that are isolated or
experiencing stress and could benefit from support.
Generally a child or young person is given an opportunity
to experience life with another family by spending one
weekend a month with them.
The program is based on the belief that giving time,
friendship, care and guidance can help build a child’s self esteem and confidence.
We have a waiting list of children who would like to be linked with a volunteer Aunty
or Uncle but are limited by finance and the number of community volunteers.

1. Entries are to be received by no later than 5pm, Friday 6th May 2011.
2. Entry is open to residents of NSW, up to the age of 12 years old.
3. This competition is not open to those people working under the CareSouth
banner and their immediate families.
4. Winning entrants will be notified by mail and/or phone and/or email.
5. Winners will be published on the CareSouth website
