TERMS AND CONDITIONS
“Participant” means a resident of Australia who purchases a Product from a participating reseller/retailer of the Promoter
in Australia during the promotional period and is the end user of that Product. “Product” means NAVIGON 3300max,
4350max, 6300, 40 Plus, 70 Plus, 40 Premium or 70 Premium GPS Navigation Systems mentioned within the terms and
conditions. “Promoter” means NAVIGON AG (ABN 62 392 892 715) of Schottmüllerstr. 20a 20251 Hamburg,
Germany. The term of this promotion is from 18 February 2011 to 31 May 2011 (“promotional period”).
This extended warranty does not cover the battery, options/accessories or consumable items of the product(s).
1. Information on how to enter and redemption details form part of these terms and conditions.
2. To be eligible for this promotion, the participant must purchase a NAVIGON 3300max, 4350max, 6300, 40 Plus, 70
Plus, 40 Premium or 70 Premium GPS Navigation Systems and redeem within the promotional period to obtain the
following;
• 2-year manufacturer’s limited warranty
• Speed Camera update subscription (8 updates over a 2yr period)
• 3 additional accessories – protective pouch, air vent mount and dashboard mount
3. There is no cash alternative to this claimable extended warranty or carry case. This offer excludes purchases made
through any online bidding or auction websites.
4. Entry is only open to Participants. This offer is available only to the end user and original purchaser. Employees and
their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies (including, although not limited to retailer to
retailers/resellers/distributors) associated with this promotion are ineligible to participate.
5. To enter the promotion the Participant must purchase the Product during the promotional period in Australia from any
authorised NAVIGON reseller/ retailer. The Participant must complete an online redemption form, pay $9.95 postage and
handling.
The speed camera update subscription, protective pouch, air vent mount, dashboard mount and warranty card will be
issued within 30 days from the date the payment is received and the claim is validated. Participants must keep a copy of
their warranty card and proof of purchase (delivery dockets, bank statements are not accepted as proof of
purchase) or any warranty claim will be rejected.
6. The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself
against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require such further verification as to the identity and
details of the Participant and/or the verification as to its qualifying purchase before issue or
cease the extended warranty.
7. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected mail.
8. Entries into the promotion are valid only for Product purchased in Australia from a participating NAVIGON
retailer/reseller between 18 February 2011 to 31 May 2011. All entries must be received by 5.00pm EST 30 June 2011
(“closing date”). Participant(s) will forfeit claims and rights to extend the warranty not made by this date. Redemption is
via online only at
www.navigon.com.au9. Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer, incentive or special project pricing offered, or promotional
or promotional product bundle.
10. The Promoter’s decision on all matters pertaining to this promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will
be entered into, except as otherwise stated in these terms and conditions. No
correspondence will be entered into after 6 weeks of closing date promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for
claims or accompanying documentation lost, misdirected, altered illegible, late or mutilated.
11. Claims are not transferable or assignable.
12. Void where prohibited by law, or where otherwise restricted.
13. Please allow approximately 30 days from the date that claim is validated for arrival.
14. Entries will be deemed invalid if the same receipt number is used more than one entry.
15. Promotion is only available while stocks last. Claims will be accepted on back-ordered products.
16. All claims and paperwork submitted become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
17. The Promoter will use the information contained in the claim form to contact Participants if it has any queries
regarding the claims and to send promotional offering.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or terminate this promotion at any time without prior notice.
19. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions may, at the Promoter’s discretion, result in cancellation or the extended
warranty.
20. Neither standard warranty nor this extended warranty nor the carry case shall be available for products determined to
be altered, modified, lost, stolen, or damaged by accident, misuse, or unauthorised repaired,
modification or installation.
21. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws in force in Hamburg,
