“Beacon Lighting” Promotion
By entering the Sunrise “Beacon Lighting” promotion, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
STANDARD TERMS
Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.
WHO CAN ENTER?
Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia where the Channel Seven signal is received.
Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Ltd, MNET Group Limited, Beacon Lighting (a division of Brightlife Nominees Pty Ltd) and their associated agencies and companies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
The competition commences on Monday 9 May 2011 at 6.00am AEST and concludes on Friday 13 May 2011 at 4.30pm AEST (“the Competition Period”), however, the eligible entry period for each daily prize will commence and conclude on the following dates and times:

In order to enter, viewers must watch Sunrise (“the Program”) on the Seven Network during the Competition Period. Throughout the Competition Period there will be competition segments aired during the Program (or any replacement program broadcast in the Sunrise timeslot).
In order to enter, viewers must either:
ring 1902 55 77 07 and register the entrant’s name, address, state, postcode, contact daytime telephone number (including STD area code); or
send a text message/SMS to 19 777 077 including the entrant’s full name and state.
For viewers in all states, the maximum entry costs (for both 1902 and SMS entry) is $0.55 (including GST). Note that SMS entries are charged at a premium rate. Higher rates apply to calls to the 1902 from mobile phones.
Entrants (including the winner) may enter the competition as many times as they like. The time of entry will in each case be the time the SMS message or 1902 telephone call is received by the MNET Group Limited database.
For SMS entrants, each entry must be charged to a mobile account and SMS entries via the internet, computer generation or “scripting” are invalid and will not be accepted.
SMS entrants will receive a reply message to their entry.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be one (1) daily prize winner for Day 1 through to Day 5 (a total of five (5) daily winners throughout the Competition Period) who will receive:
1 x $5,000 Beacon Lighting prize package including lighting and installation.

Total Prize Value $25,000
Prize value is based upon the recommended retail price and is correct as at the date of printing (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
Prize is valid until 13 November 2011.
By accepting the prize, the major prize winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The major prize winner grants the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners and their companions will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
The prize, or any component of the prize, cannot be altered in any way and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other consideration.
Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the major prize winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.

5. HOW TO WIN
Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with clause 3 by using the 1902 telephone number or a mobile phone with a reply path who’s SMS message has passed through the Telco carrier (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the daily prize draws.
One Qualifying Entrant will be drawn at random from the national pool of entrants to become the daily prize winner. The draws will take place at MNET Group Limited, Level 2, 8 Leigh Street, Adelaide SA 5000 on Monday 9 May 2011, Tuesday 10 May 2011, Wednesday 11 May 2011, Thursday 12 May 2011 and Friday 13 May 2011 at 4.50pm AEST.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners (and any companions) may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
The major prize winner will be notified by phone call and a letter advising the winner of their prize will also be posted. The major winner will be published in the Public Notices Section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 23 May 2011.
Subject to state government legislation and if required an unclaimed prize draw will be held on Monday 22 August 2011at 10:00 AEST at MNET Group Limited, Level 2, 8 Leigh Street, Adelaide SA 5000. The winner’s details will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 29 August 2011 and they will receive notification by mail.
NO LIABILITY
The Seven Network (Operations) Ltd & affiliates, MNET Group Limited, Beacon Lighting (a division of Brightlife Nominees Pty Ltd) and their associated agencies and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
The Seven Network (Operations) Ltd & affiliates, MNET Group Limited, Beacon Lighting (a division of Brightlife Nominees Pty Ltd), and their associated agencies and companies associated with this promotion, will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim that may occur:
(a) during the draw;
(b) whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the draw; or
(c) in the participation in any prize;
(d) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
in relation to failure of an SMS entry message to be received by the promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion; or
due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.
Subject to State Regulation, in the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions. .
6.4 The Seven Network (Operations) Ltd & affiliates, MNET Group Limited assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
Subject to State Regulation, if for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies associated with this promotion shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
Prize winners may be required to seek independent legal advice as tax implications may arise.

Entry details remain the property of the promoter. MNET Group Limited, on behalf of Seven Network (Operations) Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) and its related entities (“Seven”), is collecting the entrant’s personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this competition (including but not limited to determining and notifying the winners). The entrant’s personal information may be disclosed to MNET Group Limited and Beacon Lighting (a division of Brightlife Nominees Pty Ltd) for this purpose. The entrant may request access to his or her personal information by writing to Privacy Officer, MNET Group Limited, Level 2, 8 Leigh Street, Adelaide SA 5000 or emailing
