The Discovery Channel series takes the notion of a group of survivors having to cope after a global catastrophe, but being a reality series there are challenges to face and major obstacles to overcome.
The group of survivors has to survive for ten weeks inside an old abandoned factory without electricity, no running water and zero contact with the outside – unless it is in the shape of looters and bad guys trying to see what they can scavenge. What a fabulous concept though, more of a controlled experiment than an out and out reality show – can a group of ten strangers work together to put back some semblance of a functioning society in the face of overwhelming odds? Unmissable! This three disc set features all ten episodes from the first season.
