I’m curious by nature and I love peering into other people’s nail polish collections. I think you can tell a lot about a person by their choice of nail polish (I read a book on that recently, but more on that later). I’m taking my curiosity a step further and surveying as many nail polish lovers as I can for the first annual State of the Nail-tion survey right here on The Nail File. We want to know about your collection, the colours you love, how often you paint your nails…you know, the essentials.
This isn’t all fun and games though – we have some serious prizes up for grabs for completing the survey. Are you keen on walking away with over $280 worth of goodies? You bet your sweet bippy you are! There is a 25 words or less question at the end of the survey and the entries will be judged by our very esteemed panel – the super-fashionable Helen from SASSYBELLA.com, the delicious Cheri from MsCritique.com and the adorable Lorena from We’reShop.com.
The best entry will take home the Ultimate Prize Pack for being super-awesome, while four runners up will receive an OPI Pamper Pack for being runner-up-awesome. 2. The survey promotion is open to The Nail File (

3. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and
conditions of entry.
4. Promotion commences 2nd May 2011 at 7am and closes on May 20th 2011, at
10pm. The promotion will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the
Promoter. The judging will take place at the Promoters premises. Judging will
begin at 3pm AEST on May 21st. Judges’ decision in relation to all aspects of
this promotion is final and binding on all who enter and no correspondence
will be entered into. This is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in
determining the winners. Each entry will be individually judged based on
literary and creative merit. To enter, tell us in 25 words or less ‘If someone

would it be called?’ Submit your completed entry as instructed.
5. Only one entry per person permitted. For the removal of doubt, an invalid
entry consisting of a completed survey, may still be included for research
purposes only.
6. The best entry as determined by the judges will win a Nail File prize pack
valued at $280.75. The pack contains OPI gift pack containing 1 OPI Start to
Finish, 1 OPI Cuticle Oil To Go, 1 OPI Buffer, 2 OPI nail polishes, 1 Zoya 6
pack of nail polishes, 1 Essie cube of 6 polishes, 3 Face of Australia Luxe nail
polishes and 1 Face of Australia Strengthening nail polish remover. The next
four (4) best answers each win an OPI gift pack containing 1 OPI Start to
Finish, 1 OPI Cuticle Oil To Go, 1 OPI Buffer and 2 OPI nail polishes. Total
prize pool is valued at $540.75. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable
and cannot be taken as cash.
7. Selection of products awarded in prize pack (including but not limited to
colour, design, style, material, size etc) awarded will be determined by the
Promoters in their complete discretion.
8. The winners will be notified by email using contact details provided in the
survey and prizes will be sent out to winners at the address provided by the

9. If for any reason this competition is not capable or running as planned
including (but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering,
unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, unauthorised intervention
or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or
affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this
competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify
any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate,
modify or suspend the promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for
