Australia’s premier Housing Industry Association (HIA) Home Show returns to the Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre, from May 19 to 22.New this year is the HIA Award Winners Showcase. Here you’ll see the best-of-the-best award winning home designs and building products - a must inspect for renovators and home improvers. The HIA Australian Housing Awards showcase creativity, innovation and excellence in construction and design.
Another prime location for visitors is the Building & Renovation Showroom. It will showcase samples of the latest building and home improvement products. You can get tips from experts on the Building & Renovation Stage.
For home owners planning a renovation, Ask an Expert is a dedicated free consultation service at the Home Show. Bring your plans and get specialist renovation advice from HIA builders, interior designers and kitchen and bathroom designers.

Entry is only open to NSW residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter the promotion. The period for entry into the promotion commences at 12.01am AEST 9th May 2011
and closes Friday May 13 at 4.59pm.3. To enter the competition, participants either write their name, address and contact number & paper you are reading on the back of that envelope and tell us what you aim to get out of the Home Show then send it to the Sydney Home Show, PO Box 662, Parramatta CBD DC NSW 2124 or log on to their paper’s website and tell us what you aim to get out of the Home Show then enter their full name, address and daytime phone number .
4. The competition will be judged at 5pm on Friday 13th May 2011. The winners will be notified by mail. The judges decision is final.
5. All competitions are conducted at 142-154 Macquarie Street, Parramatta NSW 2150.
There will be 100 tickets to be won in total. Each ticket valued at $18. Each winner will win a double pass valued at $36. The total value is $1,800.6. Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash.
7. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
a. inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information;
b. purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions;
c. any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
d. the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website;
e. unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
f. electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
g. any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or
h. any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant’s or any other person’s computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
h. The Promoter is not liable if any prize sent by mail from the Promoter does not arrive because it is lost in the post or is delayed reaching the recipient therefore the recipient missing an event.
8. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
9. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
