Terms and Conditions

1. Information on how to enter forms part of the Terms and Conditions. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia & New Zealand who are 18 years and over and are available to travel from 23.07.11 to 24.07.11. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and associated agencies with this promotion are not eligible to enter.

3. The promotion commences on 23.03.11 at 12.01 am (AEST) and concludes on 17.05.11 at 17.00 pm (AEST). Each valid entrant who has entered the promotion over the duration of the promotional period will be entered into the draw. One (1) valid entrant will be drawn at random to become the winner. The draw will take place at the promoter's premises, Level 16/66-68 Goulburn Street, Sydney on 25.05.11 at 11:30 am AEDST. The winner will be notified by telephone and mail using contact details provided in their entry. The winner's name will also be published in the August issue of Street Machine (on sale 20/07/11).

4. To enter, Australian & New Zealand residents must, during the promotional period, log onto www.street30.com.au and register their details including vehicle selection, full name, address, postcode, and daytime phone number and e-mail address.

6. Multiple votes are not permitted and will be discounted.

7. Incomplete, indecipherable or inaudible entries will be deemed invalid.

8. The first valid entry drawn will be deemed the winner and will receive a trip for two (2) adults to Sydney, NSW valued at up to $3,000 (depending on point of departure). The prize includes return economy class air fares for two (2) adults from the winners nearest capital city to Sydney, NSW (if necessary), one (1) night twin share minimum of three star accommodation for two (2) adults, entry for two (2) adults to the MotorEx Gala dinner on Saturday 23rd July 2011. The winner (and their companion) is responsible for all other expenses including spending money, transport to and from the departure point, meals, drinks, laundry charges, incidentals, taxes (including departure taxes), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Prize must be taken to coincide with the Meguiar's MotorEx event with flights departing on 23.07.11 and is subject to booking and flight availability. The prize/flight cannot be changed once the booking has been made.

9.The winner (and their companion) must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest capital city for flight departure (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth. If the winner is from Tasmania, ACT or NT connecting flights from these cities to the nearest flight departure capital city will be included in the prize package for the winner and travelling companion only - if applicable.

10. Government taxes are an additional cost to the winners and their travelling companions and are required prior to ticketing. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.

11. Prizes will only be awarded to the account holder of the entry mechanism used to submit their entry (i.e. online web entry). The winner will therefore be, in each case, the account holder.

12. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

13. Total prize value is up to $3,000.00 (including GST).

14. Prize cannot be transferred or exchanged and cannot be redeemed for cash.

15. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the promotion and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner's entry is of a type described in this clause.

16. The time of entry will in each case be the time the online web entry is received by the Promoters database and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant.

17. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to reference to all relevant State and Territory regulation and legislation.

18. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.

19. The MotorEx Gala dinner ticket prize is subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event organizers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any winner (and/or his/her companion) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.

20. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned throughout the duration of the prize

21. In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby permits the winner's image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed or filmed during the winner's participation in the prize to appear in connection with Street Machine or the advertising or marketing thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

22. Should an entrant's contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.

23. Subject to any written direction given under regulation, a draw for the prize, if unclaimed, will take place at ACP Magazines, Level 16/66-68 Goulburn Street, Sydney NSW 2000 on 14.06.11 at 11:00 am AEDST. In the case of a winner, they will be notified in writing and their name will be published in the Public Notices section of the Australian on 05.07.11.

24. The Promoter's decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and binding on all who enter and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the promotion result.

25. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

26. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoters) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant (f) redemption of the prize; and/or (g) participation in the promotion

27. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

28. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not

limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
