Conditions of Entry
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these conditions of entry. 2. The promotion is open to all Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over. 3. Employees of the Promoter, and their immediate families, and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Only one entry per person will be permitted. 4. The promotional period commences 19 May 2011, and closes 11.59pm (AEST) on Friday 17 June 2011 (“Promotional Period”). This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. 5. To enter, entrants must, during the Promotional Period, visit
www.shoptilyoudrop.com.au, follow the prompts to the competition entry page, input the requested details and an answer to the question “What’s been your genius buy of the year and why?” in 50 words or less, and submit the fully completed entry form. 6. Entries will be individually judged, based on literary and creative merit and originality. The promotion will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. The winner will be notified in writing using contact details provided in their entry. The judging of entries will take place at the Promoter’s premises and will begin on Monday 27 June 2011. 7. The best entry as determined by the judges will be deemed the major-prize winner and will receive a BlackBerry Touch 9800 mobile phone, valued at $864 (from Telstra, handset only). 8. Total prize pool is valued at $864. Prize does not include any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize. These are the responsibility of the winner. 9. Entries not completed in accordance with the conditions of entry, or received after the closing date will not be considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. 10. Prize valued in Australian dollars. Prize value is the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time they went online. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. 11. If the prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification. 12. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. 13. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion. 15. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.

In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to reference to all relevant state and territory regulations) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. 17. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications-line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries. 18. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this competition are governed by the Privacy Notice (see the contents page of the latest issue of Shop Til You Drop magazine). All entries submitted become the property of the Promoter. Entries will not be returned to any entrant. By entering this promotion each entrant warrants to the Promoter that each entry submitted is an original artistic work of the entrant which does not infringe the rights of any third party. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter against all claims and costs by third parties arising from a breach of the warranty set out in this condition. The Promoter is entitled to use any of the entries submitted for any purposes at its discretion, including (but not limited to) for any future promotion, marketing and publicity purposes.
