C-News Exclusive - How Do You Know
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry is free but only open to Australian residents with a current subscription to Civic Video’s bi-monthly newsletter, ‘C-News’. Employees and immediate family members of the Promoter, outlets and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain the permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter.
4. To enter, entrants must be a current subscriber to Civic Video’s electronic newsletter “C-News”. Entrants must complete the official entry form online at
www.civicvideo.com.au and follow the instructions to submit the form for entry into the competition.
5. The cost of accessing the competition web page and online entry form will be dependent on the entrant’s individual Internet Service Provider.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
7. The competition commences 27th May 2011. Entries close 4pm 27th June 2011. The entries will be drawn at Civic Video Pty Ltd, 110 Bourke Road, Alexandria NSW 2015 on 4th July 2011 at 4pm.
8. The first 8 valid entries drawn will win a DVD movie pack including How Do You Know, Cruel Intentions, American Psycho, I Could Never Be Your Woman, A Few Good Men, Anger Management, As Good As It Gets, Easy Rider, The Cable Guy, and Spanglish on DVD valued at $125.00 each.
9. Total prize pool is valued at $1000.00 (RRP).
10. Winners will be notified by mail or email by 11th July 2011.
11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. The prize or any unused portion of the prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
13. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided the entrant may be excluded from the competition.
14. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out below.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to request that the winner provide proof of identity prior to awarding the prize. Identification considered suitable for verification will be at the discretion of the Promoter.
