Emerging Artists Billboard Competition

Queensland Rail is calling for Brisbane based emerging artists to submit vibrant and creative designs to adorn the walls of Fortitude Valley railway station.

The Emerging Art Billboard Competition will provide an opportunity for Brisbane based emerging artists over the age of 18 years to exhibit their artistic talent on a large scale for 12 months.

One winner will be decided by a Selection Panel, and a second winner will be a People's Choice as voted on the Queensland Rail Facebook page.

Entries are open from Wednesday 22 June until Sunday 31 July 2011, and all eligible artists are encouraged to submit their designs
