Terms and Conditions: Win a Sportscraft Qantas Wallabies Rugby Experience – Facebook Competition

Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these terms and conditions. If there is any conflict between these terms and conditions and any other published material, these terms and conditions are to prevail. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Entry is only open to Australian residents in QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS, WA, SA or NT , who are 18 years of age and over and who ‘like’ one of, or both of the Sportscraft Facebook pages, www.facebook.com.au/sportscraft and/or www.facebook.com.au/sportscraftman (and remain a fan) during the promotion period (”Eligible Entrants”). Employees of the Promoter (and their immediate families) and its agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.

The promotion commences on Tuesday, 28 June 2011 at 9.00am (EST) and closes on Sunday, 10 July 2011 at 11.59pm (EST) (“Promotional Period”).

To receive an entry into the draw Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotional Period, ‘like’ one of, or both of the Sportscraft Facebook pages, www.facebook.com.au/sportscraft and/or www.facebook.com.au/sportscraftman (and remain a fan) during the promotion period, and be available to accept the prize, if they are a winner, as stated in condition 6, during the promotion period.

The draw will take place at 2.00pm (EST) on Monday, 11 July 2011 at 830 Elizabeth St Street, Waterloo NSW 2017. The winner will be notified by telephone on the 11 July 2011 and via email the same week. Winner’s details will be announced on the Sportscraft Facebook pages and on the Sportscraft website on 14 July 2011.

There will be one draw and one winner. The first eligible entry drawn will receive the Major Prize. The winner must claim and confirm their eligibility to accept the prize, as stated by 5.00pm (EST) on 14 July 2011. If the winner fails to claim their prize by this time, they will forfeit the prize (and no compensation will be given or paid in lieu), and another draw/s will take place on 15 July 2011, at the same time and place as the original draw, until a winner is able to accept the prize as stated. The second chance draw winner will be notified by telephone on the 15 July 2011 and via email the same week. The second chance draw winner’s details will be announced on the Sportscraft Facebook pages and on the Sportscraft website on 18 July 2011.

If the winner is an Australian resident who lives in QLD, ACT, VIC, TAS, WA, SA or NT the prize will include;

4 x Gold Class tickets to the Qantas Wallabies V South Africa at ANZ Stadium on Saturday 23 July 2011, valued at $396.
1 x Sportscraft gift voucher valued at a total of $1000. The gift voucher will be provided to the 1 winner and must be spent at a Sportscraft freestanding store within 12 months of voucher issue date. The total of $1000 must be spent within stated period on full price merchandise and no refund or gift vouchers will be given if less is spent.
4 x economy return airfares from the winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Sydney (the winner and their guests must travel together on the same flights). Maximum total flight value of $2,400 or less depending on departure location.
2 nights accommodation, in 2 x king bed rooms at Hilton Sydney, 2 people in each room (in 22 July 2011, out 24 July 2011) valued at $956.
Total maximum retail value of the Major prize, depending upon the winner’s point of departure, is $4,752.

If the winner of the Major Prize is a NSW resident their prize will include;

4 x Gold Class tickets to the Qantas Wallabies V South Africa at ANZ Stadium on Saturday 23 July 2011, valued at $396.
1 x Sportscraft gift voucher valued at a total of $1000. The gift voucher will be provided to the 1 winner and must be spent at a Sportscraft freestanding store within 12 months of voucher issue date. The total of $1000 must be spent within stated period on full price merchandise and no refund or gift vouchers will be given if less is spent.
2 nights accommodation, in 2 x king bed rooms at Hilton Sydney, 2 people in each room (in 22 July 2011, out 24 July 2011) valued at $956.
Total value maximum retail value of the Major prize, depending upon the winner’s point of departure, is $2352.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. The winner will be contacted using the winner’s details included in their Sportscraft Facebook competition entry. The promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect details included in the winner’s contact information. Any ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner. If a winner is unable to utilize the prize on the dates stated they will forfeit the prize, and another winner will be drawn, and no compensation will be paid in lieu.

Prize is not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other goods or services nor can they be re-sold. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value, performance, or availability of any prize. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the advertised prize for a prize of equivalent or greater retail value if, for any reason beyond the Promoters control, the Promoter are not able to give the prize-winner the advertised prize, subject to State legislation. Any incidental costs relating to the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

All people included in the prize must be 18 years of age or over.

Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner. The winner (and their companions) are responsible for all expenses including but not limited to spending money, all transfers including to and from the airport and to and from the game (other than that specified), meals, drinks, incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls, activities, insurance, taxes, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. The winner (and their companions) is also responsible for ensuring that they have suitable travel insurance for the travel period. Travel insurance is not included in the prize and will be the responsibility of the winner. Travel insurance is strongly recommended by the Promoters.

Any fees, taxes, surcharges, and/or service charges are the responsibility of the passengers. All Fees are payable via credit card and are non-refundable.

Travel arrangements to and from home, hotel, airport and the game do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner (and their companions).

Photo identification and credit card or cash deposit may be required at hotel check-in for incidental charges.

All elements of the prize must be taken together.

The winner is responsible for the payment of any applicable airline excess baggage fees or other fees, taxes and surcharges.

The name on the airfare bookings must appear exactly as written in your official identification and that of your traveling companions. The Promoters are not responsible for denied boarding or any re-issue costs charged by the airline due to an incorrect name supplied to the Promoters.

The Promoter is not responsible for any inconvenience or any costs or fees incurred by airline flight delays, lost luggage, cancellation or disruption of air service. Air transportation is subject to the terms and conditions of the airline’s terms and conditions. You agree to abide by such terms and conditions including, but not limited to, payment of all amounts when due. You understand that any violation of any such rules and restrictions may result in cancellation of your reservation(s) and/or in your being denied access to the applicable travel product or services.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoters and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable to any person for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or a consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever resulting from incorrect details lodged by entrants.

The Promoter reserves the right (subject to written directions from State Regulatory bodies and any applicable law subject) to vary the rules of any competition or any prizes offered or cancel any competition if it is no longer able to run the competition due to reasons beyond its control. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage to any party arising from any variation or cancellation. Reason will need to be included, as you cannot cancel or amend the terms and conditions without first consulting those States who have issued permits.

The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including (but not limited to) any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
