We asked you to take a photo of what Australia means to you and at the close of the competition we've had over 1,300 photos submitted to our 'My Australia' online gallery.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
METHOD OF ENTRY 1.Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
1.Entry is open to Australian residents only. Employees of SBS and their immediate families are ineligible. By entering this competition, entrants will be deemed to agree with these terms of entry.
1.The “MY AUSTRALIA COMPETITION” commences on Monday, 23 May, 2011 at 12:00 noon AEST and ends on Friday, 8 July, 2011 at 15:30 AEST.
Submission Period:
Commences Monday, 23 May, 2011 at 12:00 noon AEST through to Thursday, 23 June, 2011 at 10:00 AEST. Entries are limited to no more than five (5) entries per person.
Selection Period:
Commences Thursday, 23 June, 2011 at 10:01 AEST through to Thursday, 23 June, 2011 at 14:00 AEST. An SBS representative at 14 Herbert Street, Artarmon, 2064 will judge the entries and select the best ten (10) entries. The ten (10) entries will be published on the SBS website

Voting Period:
Commences Thursday, 23 June, 2011 at 14:15 AEST through to Friday, 8 July, 2011 at 15:30 AEST. Voting is limited to one vote/entry per person.
1.Major Prize - To enter participants must log onto
www.sbs.com.au/chinese and follow the directions on the website. Participants must register their details, including (but not limited to) name, address, postcode and phone number and submit a photo they have taken that shows us what Australia means to them. This could be a photo of something as iconic as the Sydney Opera House or Uluru, or simply a picture that they’ve taken of their own back yard! A photo must be uploaded with your entry. The photograph will be published at the discretion of SBS.
1.The top ten (10) entries will be judged by an SBS representative at 14 Herbert Street, Artarmon, NSW, 2064 and published on the SBS website
www.sbs.co.au/chinese on Thursday, 23 June, 2011 at 14:00 AEST. The public will have the opportunity to vote on the entry they think is the best from Thursday, 23 June, 2011 14:15 AEST. The entry which has received the most public votes by Friday, 8 July, 2011 at 15:30 AEST will win the Major Prize.
1.Voter Prize - all valid votes are automatically entered into the Voter Prize draw. The Voter Prize winner will be drawn by an SBS representative on Friday, 8 July, 2011 at 16:00 AEST.
1.The Major Prize winner and the Voter Prize winner will be notified by phone and email on Monday, 11 July, 2011. The names of the winners will be published on the SBS website

1.SBS reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of Australian residency status at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity, in order to claim a prize. Acceptance of proof of identification, Australian residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of SBS. In the event that a winner cannot provide proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
1.Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. All entries become and remain the property of SBS.

11. All prizes are as depicted or described in the promotions for the competition and are not subject to change.
12. SBS accepts no responsibility for any loss, damages, or injury incurred to enter the competition or in connection with taking up the prizes.
13. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
14. Once prizes have left the Prize Supplier’s premises, we take no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
FINAL CONDITIONS
15. Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). SBS accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
16. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.
17. SBS accepts no responsibility for any loss, damages, or injury incurred in entering the competition or taking up the prize.
18. SBS assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alterations of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including, but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the rights in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. 19. The Major Prize element of this competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be judged based upon creative merit. All entries must be the original independent creation of the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third party rights.

A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office.
