In France it was hailed as the 'Spectacle de l’année'; in Germany the 'Produktion des Jahres'. Now the 'show of the year' is coming to Brisbane Festival on September 3–4, fresh from 15-minute standing ovations and rave reviews across Europe and North America. Choreographed by Alain Platel, founder of world renowned les ballets C de la B, 'Out of Context – For Pina' explores and questions the essence of humanity through the language of movement. Dancers expose their bodies as a canvas of expression and, through pure dance, invite the audience to accompany them on a journey to experience life without boundaries.
