Dennis Weaver plays Deputy Marshall Sam McCloud who leaves his laid back beat in Texas New Mexico to tackle the mean streets of New York. With his catchphrase of ‘there you go’, his Stetson and gung-ho approach, McCloud is a figure to be reckoned with even if his attitude does see him falling foul of his boss Chief Peter B. Clifford.
Each of the episodes are feature length and guest stars include the likes of glamour-pusses Farrah Fawcett, Linda Evans and Stephanie Powers as well as country legend John Denver.
