The Prizes
RedBalloon will select 10 people behind their inspirational stories of thanks to receive a RedBalloon experience of a lifetime. Stories will be judged by creativity, sentiment and impact no matter how grand or small the gesture is.

HOW TO ENTER
To enter, submit your Thank You Story on the Official ‘Thank You Competition’ website (
http://stories.redballoon.com.au/thankyou). Winners will be selected by the panel of judges from the short list of entries. To be shortlisted your story must receive a minimum of 20 votes from the public. There are 10 prizes to be won, with a total prize pool of $5000 worth of RedBalloon experiences.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Submission of entry is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
Promotional period commences 25/07/2011 and closes 22/8/2011 at 9:00 (AEDST). No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected claims.
Only one entry into the competition per person will be allowed. Evidence of multiple submissions from one individual shall invalidate the entry.
Entry is open to Australian residents.
Entries are only valid if successfully posted on the ‘Thank You Competition’ website (
http://stories.redballoon.com.au/thankyou).
There are 10 x RedBalloon experiences up to the value of $500 to be won. Winners can only choose one experience, if this experience does not amount to $500, but falls below this value then they cannot add subsequent experiences to reach the value of $500.
The chosen entrants will be notified by email and will receive their prize within 2 weeks of promotion end.
RedBalloon reserves the right to use the nominations provided to publish in the public domain. Personal information such as email addresses and phone numbers will not be published.
All entrants must have a valid email address to enter the promotion. The Promoter collects entrants and the nominees’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion and fulfil prizing. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. Promoter’s privacy policy can be viewed at

Contact details entered incorrectly shall invalidate the entry. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incomplete, damaged or incomprehensible entries. All such inaccurate, incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. Any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions will be invalid.
Employees of the Promoter, RedBalloon Pty Ltd, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, at any time during or after the promotion, and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant (and ALL entries submitted by that entrant) for tampering or interfering with the entry process or any other activities which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted from that source invalid. Any competition entry that is found to be plagarised will automatically be disqualified.
The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, age and residence. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. If the winner is under 18 years the prize may at the absolute discretion of the Promoter be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian.
Prizes or any unused portion of a prize are not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
RedBalloon experiences are valid for 12 months from the date of the prize draw.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance of the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, as a result of taking or using any of the prizes, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter and any person associated with it, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
