One of life’s most simple pleasures – getting caught in the rain – can easily turn into one of life’s little moments of outrage – when your umbrella gets blown inside out, your shoes leak and you’ve left your windbreaker at home. I do love seeing a collection of mangled Prada brollies in the trash after a wild and woolly morning, just as long as one of them didn’t belong to me.
