KIDSPOT CBeebies 2011 Winter “Things To Do” Promotion
Terms and Conditions

1. Instructions on how to enter form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
2. The competitions are open to all residents of Australia that are over the age of 18 years and are members of Kidspot Social, except employees of the Promoter and members of their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion.
3. Promotion commences on Friday, 15th July, 2011 (AEST) and closes at midnight on Thursday, 11th August, 2011 (AEST) [“Promotional Period”].
4. To enter into the Kidspot Social competitions, members must login or create a Kidspot Social account. CLICK HERE to access our quick sign-up page
5. To enter the major competition, entrants must upload a photo of their child enjoying a fun indoor Winter activity and provide a 25 words or less caption describing the photo or activity.
a) Photo and caption are to be uploaded into the competition topic comments section.
6. To enter the weekly competitions, entrants must answer the weekly topic question posted in the Things To Do for Kids and Families group at Kidspot Social.
7. Multiple entries are permitted in each promotion, subject to the following:
a) each entry must be substantially unique; and
b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
8. Incomplete, illegible and inappropriate entries will be deemed invalid and will not be included in the judging.
9. If the entry is deemed inappropriate or offensive, it will be removed by Kidspot administrators at their discretion.
10. The weekly winners will be announced in the competition topic thread. The weekly competitions will run on the following dates.
15th July – 21st July
22nd July – 28th July
29th July – 4th August
11. At the end of the 4 week promotion period, a panel of judges appointed by the Promoters will choose one winner from the pool of all photos entered into the major competition over the duration of the competition. Judging will take place at Kidspot, Level 5, 14 Queens Road, Melbourne Victoria 3004. The winners will be announced in the Things To Do for Kids and Families group and notified by email. Each entry will be individually judged based on originality, creative merit and alignment with the ‘indoor Winter activity’ theme.
12. The major prize winner of the KIDSPOT CBeebies 2011 Winter “Things To Do” photo competition will win the following prizes:
- 1 x iPad featuring kids’ content from the new CBeebies On The Go app (pre-loaded onto iPad)
- 1 x CBeebies DVD Suite containing 5 x titles from the CBeebies DVD range.
a) Total major prize value is $1000 (RRP)
13. The three winners of the weekly KIDSPOT CBeebies 2011 Winter “Things To Do” topic competitions will each win a CBeebies ‘Winter Fun Time’ Prize Pack, valued at $250 (RRP)

14. The winner's profile photo and details may be posted to the Kidspot Facebook page as well as across various Kidspot communication channels.
15. All Kidspot Social competition winners must:
a) Agree to have their entry featured on the Kidspot Social homepage
b) Be agreeable to the usage of their profile photo and details within Kidspot onsite creative, editorial features and email communication
c) Provide all necessary contact details to allow for prize delivery and communication with Kidspot in relation to the KIDSPOT CBeebies 2011 Winter “Things To Do” promotion.
d) Be agreeable to their contact details being provided to Kidspot (Promoter) for the purposes of prize fulfillment.
16. The judges’ decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and binding on all who enter and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. All of the KIDSPOT CBeebies 2011 Winter “Things To Do” competitions are games of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
18. All entries must be original and must not infringe on any third party’s intellectual property rights. The Promoter reserves the right to seek a declaration from any entrant that their entry complies with this clause.
19. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
20. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
21. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the prize winner. If the prize is forfeited within twenty four business hours of the notification taking place, a re-judging will occur immediately.
22. Any costs associated with accessing the Kidspot website are the responsibility of the person seeking access and are dependent on the internet service provider used.
23. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter, not time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
24. All entries submitted become the property of the Promoter.
25. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (and their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (g) the prize and/ or (h) participation in the promotion.
