THIS month, the Small Business Festival will provide inspiration, ideas and information to Victoria’s small businesses.
Leader has 60 double passes, worth $80 each, to give away to the Small Business Expo, which will be held on Thursday, August 25 at Melbourne Park Function Centre.
Only one entry per person. Leader Community Newspapers reserves the right to invalidate all multiple entries submitted by one person. To enter, fill in the form below by August 17.
All winners will need to validate their tickets online by Sunday, August 20.

Terms & Conditions – Leader and Victoria’s Small Business Expo Promotion
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions of entry.
2. The Promoter is Leader Associated Newspapers Pty Ltd, 1-7 Chapel Street Blackburn Vic 3130. ABN: 34 004 337 446.
3. The promotion is known as the “Leader and Victoria’s Small Business Expo” promotion.
4. Entry is available to Victorian small business employers and employees who reside within the Leader Newspapers distribution area. Employees of the Promoter or its associated companies, employees of any agencies, affiliates, sponsors, sub-sponsors or representatives of the Promoter and the immediate families of any such employees are not eligible to enter.
5. Only one entry permitted per person.
6. Leader Newspapers’ privacy policy is available by visiting
www.leadernews.com.au and following the relevant links.
7. Promotion commences at 9.00am AEST on 08/08/2011 and finishes at 9.00am AEST on 17/08/2011 (“promotion period”).
8. This promotion will be advertised in Leader newspapers during the promotion period.
9. Consumers can enter via the following method:
a. Internet – Visit
www.leadernews.com.au and complete the online entry form. Online entry form will require address, contact numbers, email address details, date of birth and the title of the entrant’s local Leader newspaper.
10. The promotion is one of a game of chance. All valid entries will form part of a random draw.
11. The first 60 valid entries drawn will each win two passes to Victoria’s Small Business Expo, valid on Thursday 25/8/2011 for one entry for two adults and valued at $AUD80.
12. Total prize pool value is $AUD4,800.
13. Victoria’s Small Business Expo will be held on Thursday 25/8/2011 from 8.00am to 1.00pm at Melbourne Park Function Centre, Batman Avenue, Melbourne 3000.
14. All winners will need to validate their tickets online at
www.business.vic.gov.au/tix-BIG and enter the password LDR-BIG by Saturday 20/08/2011.
15. Leader Community Newspapers takes no responsibility for any changes to or cancellation of the event, including but not limited to event times, event date or venue changes.
16. Leader Community Newspapers takes no responsibility for any winner who does not validate their ticket.
17. The prize draw will be held at 12.00pm AEST on 17/08/2011 at the office of Leader Associated Newspapers Pty Ltd, 1-7 Chapel Street Blackburn Vic 3130.
18. Winners will be contacted in writing within 3 days of the draw and winners will be published in Leader newspapers on week commencing 22/08/2011.
19. All prizes will be will be distributed by mail. The Promoter does not take responsibility for misdirected mail, mail received late or mail not received.

21. Leader Newspapers reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process.
22. Leader Newspapers is not responsible for any technical malfunctions or problems with internet or network congestion, including injury or damage to the participant’s or any other person’s computer which may affect participation in this promotion or transmission of entries over the internet.
23. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for late, lost, misdirected entries or entries sent but not received by Leader. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter.
24. Prizes are non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash or kind and must be taken as offered. No responsibility is taken for the winner’s loss of the prize.
25. The Promoter and companies associated with this promotion shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including by not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the prize.
26. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right (subject to all relevant state and territory regulations) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
27. The personal information supplied to Leader Newspapers is for the purpose of entering this competition only and may not be used by us or any of our Australian related companies for future marketing and publicity purposes. This personal information may be disclosed to third parties to determine whether an entrant has breached the terms and conditions.
