Entry into the competition can be made by the following method:

Each referral earns you a bonus entry into the prize draw, for example, if you tell 11 friends about the competition using the form at
www.bookarestaurant.com/tasteofmelbourne, you will receive 11 additional entries into the competition, refer 20 and you gain 20 additional entries etc.
There will be 48 minor prizes which will consist of 48 pairs of General Admission tickets to Taste of Melbourne 2011 for one session on any of the four days of the event.
By providing your details: title, first name, surname, postcode and email address, and accepting the terms and conditions, you are opting into the bookarestaurant.com and Taste of Melbourne marketing database and are giving consent to receive eNewsletters with promotional offers, news and events updates from bookarestaurant.com and Taste of Melbourne. You may opt-out of these marketing databases by following the instructions contained in any of the promotional emails you receive from bookarestaurant.com and/or Taste of Melbourne.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
1.Entry into the bookarestaurant.com 2011 Taste of Melbourne promotion (the "Competition") is open to all residents of Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, Northern Territories, Tasmania and Queensland over the age of 18 years. The Promoter is Bookrestaurant Pty Ltd (ABN: 29 143 036 159) of 67-75 Raglan Street, Preston VIC 3072 Australia (the "Promoter"). Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2.The officers, management and employees (or immediate family of an officer, manager or employee) of the Promoter and the agencies associated with this Competition are not eligible to enter.
3.Competition commences at 00.01(AEST) on Monday 15th August 2011 and closes at 23:59 (AEST) on Sunday 4th September 2011 (the "Competition Period").
4.To enter the Competition and be eligible to win, entrants must:
◦be over the age of 18 years and be a resident of Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, Northern Territories, Tasmania and Queensland;
◦complete the online entry form on the bookarestaurant.com website
5.All entries must include the entrant's title, name, email address, and postcode to be eligible for entry. Incomplete entries will be ineligible. The Prize winners will be notified by email as supplied on the entry form.
6.All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into bookarestaurant.com database NOT time of transmission by the entrant.
PRIZE
7.There are a total of 49 prizes to be won. The prizes consist of:
◦48 pairs of General Admission tickets to Taste of Melbourne 2011 for one session on any of the four days of the event.
◦One $200 restaurant voucher to be redeemed at Stokehouse and two VIP (not including Crowns) tickets to Taste of Melbourne 2011 (for one session selected by the winner). Taste of Melbourne is open from the 15 - 18 September. For more information on specific session times and dates visit

◦The Prize winner is responsible for any associated costs (transportation or otherwise) for redeeming the Prize ('the Prize")
8.The total maximum Prize pool value is $2840. The Prize values are the recommended retail values as provided by the suppliers and are correct at the time of printing. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of the Prize occurring between publishing date and date the Prize is claimed. All Prize values are in Australian dollars.
9.There is no cash alternative to the Prize.
10.Prize-winner may opt to nominate to transfer the prize into someone else's name. This request must be made in writing and agreed to in writing by the Promoter. Prize-winner's nominee will agree to all terms as deemed in the Official Rules.
JUDGING AND AWARD OF PRIZE
11.The draw will take place at the offices of The Orchard Agency (Ground Floor, 369 Royal Parade, Parkville VIC 3052). The draw dates are
◦1:00pm Monday 22nd August 2011 (16 pairs of General Admission tickets to Taste of Melbourne)
◦1:00pm Monday 29th August 2011. (16 pairs of General Admission tickets to Taste of Melbourne)
◦1:00pm Monday 5th September 2011. (16 pairs of General Admission tickets to Taste of Melbourne, as well as a separate draw for the main prize of the $200 restaurant voucher for Stokehouse plus two VIP tickets (not including Crowns) to Taste of Melbourne.
This is a game of chance. Each entry will be entered into the draw. The winners will be drawn at random
12.If a Prize winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the Prize by the stipulated date, then the Prize will be forfeited and the prize will be redrawn.
13.Three (3) attempts over the period of a week will be made to contact the Prize winners. If the prize remains uncollected at the end of the week that it is drawn, a second chance draw will be conducted at the same premises listed in paragraph 10, on the:
◦1:00pm Monday 29th August 2011 (for uncollected winning entries drawn from Monday 22nd August 2011)
◦1:00pm Monday 5th September 2011 (for uncollected winning entries drawn from Monday 29th August 2011)
◦1:00pm Monday 12th September 2011 (for uncollected winning entries drawn from Monday 5th September 2011)
AGE
14.Entrants must be over 18 years old to enter the Competition. Any entry from persons who do not meet this age criteria will be ineligible for entry
GENERAL
15.All entrants agree to provide the Promoter or the Promoter's authorised agent with proof of identity, residency, age and/or proof of entry validity if selected as the Prize winner/s or if reasonably requested by the Promoter or the Promoter's authorised agent. Proof of age, identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the sole discretion of the Promoter. In the event that the Prize winner cannot provide suitable proof, the Prize winner will forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
16.The Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, at any time before the awarding of the Prizes to cancel or vary the Competition or to vary or cancel the award of the Prizes including, without limitation, circumstances where in the Promoter's opinion (which it shall form in its absolute discretion):
◦a Prize winner does not satisfy the Competition entry requirements; or
◦the Promoter cannot conduct the Competition or award the Prize/s for any reason beyond its control.
17.In the event that the Promoter cancels or varies the Competition or varies or withdraws the Prizes it shall not:
◦be liable to any person for any loss or damage (including loss or damage caused by any negligence) arising out of, or in connection with, such cancellation, variation or withdrawal; and
◦be required to conduct the Competition at any other time.
18.Entrants are advised that "opt-in" entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter may use the entrant's personal information for future promotional and marketing communication. By opting-in, entrants confirm that they allow their details to be used for this purpose. The Promoter will only use this information for their own requirements and will only be shared with Taste of Melbourne organisers. The Promoter's privacy policy applies and can be viewed at

19.No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for late, lost or misdirected entries and all entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt of the entry into the Promoter's database and NOT time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter will accept no responsibility for any delays to entry caused by technical disruptions or malfunctions. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for outdated or incorrect contact details or contact details by which the entrant cannot be contacted during business hours on the relevant dates.
20.The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the award of prize/s to, and/or to disqualify any individual who, as determined in the sole discretion of the Promoter, has breached these terms and conditions or who has otherwise engaged in unlawful or improper conduct that is designed to jeopardise the fair conduct of the Competition.
21.Entrants are advised that their personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and their names as the winner may be published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
22.A decision of the Promoter in relation to the conduct of the Competition is binding and conclusive and no correspondence will be entered into.
23.Entrants enter the Competition at their sole risk. With the exception of liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the Prize or entering the Competition.
