OPSM Team Colours Countdown Terms & Conditions

1.These terms and conditions are for the OPSM Team Colours Countdown competition (the "competition").
2.Compete to win an AFL and/or an NRL Grand Final Package. Facebook members access OPSM Facebook page to play the colour match game. Every time a game is played, results are ranked on the AFL or NRL leader board. The three highest scoring players for the AFL and NRL games at the end of the Promotion Period WIN!
3.Information on how to enter and provided in the entry registration process forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions and the Facebook terms and conditions of use and related rules on www.facebook.com.
4.The competition commences at 5.00pm AEST on 25 August 2011 and closes at 5.00pm AEST on 22 September 2011 (the "Promotion Period").
5.To be eligible to enter the competition and compete for the prizes individuals must be residents of Australia (and in the case of the NRL colour match game only, Australia or New Zealand), and play and validly complete an online OPSM colour match digital game in accordance with these terms and conditions. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Directors, management, employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its related companies and agencies are not eligible to enter the competition.
6.Entry into this competition is voluntary and there is no entry fee payable.
7.NRL colour match game: To enter the competition and compete to win a double pass to the NRL 2011 Telstra Premiership Grand Final, an entrant must play the NRL colour match game during the Promotion Period by:
1.access the competition website www.facebook.com/OPSMAU;
2.accepting, by clicking "I agree to the terms and conditions", and complying with these terms and conditions;
3.clicking on the NRL "Play" button;
4.entering the information requested when and where requested, including at the conclusion of the game the entrant's valid email address (winners cannot be contacted without the information requested); and
5.playing and completing the OPSM colour match digital game.
8.AFL colour match game: To enter the competition and compete to win a double pass to the 2011 Toyota AFL Premiership Grand Final, an entrant must play the AFL colour match game during the Promotion Period by:
1.access the competition website www.facebook.com/OPSMAU;
2.accepting, by clicking "I agree to the terms and conditions", and complying with these terms and conditions;
3.clicking on the AFL "Play" button;
4.entering the information requested when and where requested, including at the conclusion of the game the entrant's valid email address (winners cannot be contacted without the information requested); and
5.playing and completing the OPSM colour match digital game.
9.An entrant can enter and compete in the competition as many times as they wish.
10.Throughout the Promotion Period the top ranked entrants will be displayed on a leader board which can be viewed via the competition website www.facebook.com/OPSMAU. The Promoter accepts no liability for the accuracy of the leader board at any stage throughout the competition.
11.For each of the AFL/NRL colour match games the 3 entrants who achieve the highest scores will be the prize winners. If more than 3 entrants receive a winning score, the prize winners will be determined according to the date the score was received, with the entrant obtaining the score on the earliest date (or the earliest time on a particular date) being the prize winner. If the same entrant receives more than one winning score in a game, the maximum prize per person is one prize from each AFL/NRL colour match game.
12.There are a total of three double passes to the 2011 Telstra Premiership Grand Final Game (scheduled on 2 October 2011) to be won in the NRL colour match game and a total of three double passes to the 2011 Telstra AFL Premiership Grand Final Game to be won in the AFL colour match game.
13.The three (3) winners of the 2011 Toyota AFL Grand Final package will receive two (2) nights twin share accommodation in a four (4) star hotel and tickets for two (2) people to the AFL Grand Final to be held in Melbourne, Victoria on 1 October 2011. Prime category seating, entry to the exclusive Centre Square after the match, post match cocktails and concert and one "On field" and one "replica" Guernsey form additional prizes in the AFL prize package.
14.The three (3) winners of the 2011 Telstra NRL Premiership Grand Final Game package will receive two (2) nights twin share accommodation in a four (4) star hotel and tickets for two (2) people to the NRL Grand Final to be held in Sydney, NSW on 2 October 2011. Level 1 Corporate seating at ANZ stadium, a pre-match function at Acer Arena, 3-course gourmet lunch (with a selection of refreshments) and post-match canapés form additional prizes in the NRL prize package.
15.If the winners are not located in the host city, they will also be awarded return economy airfares from the winner's nearest capital city to Melbourne, Victoria for the AFL or to Sydney, NSW for the NRL. If the winner is located in the host city, then the prize does not include airfares and the airfare component of the prize is not redeemable for cash.
16.If any winner is under the age of 18 at the time of entry, in order to receive the prize one of the winner's passes must be awarded to and in the name of the minor's parent or guardian.
17.The total prize pool value for the competition is approximately $24,350. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
18.The prize winners will be announced on 1pm AEST on 23 September 2011. The winners will be notified by email on 23 September 2011.
19.For each prize that is not claimed at least 2 days before the applicable Grand Final game is to be played, the winner will be taken to have forfeited any right to the prize and the prize will be allocated to the next highest ranked entrant.
20.This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
21.The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions of entry or who has in entering the competition, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct that is inappropriate, unsuitable or offensive which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the competition and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner's entry is of a type described in this clause. Incomplete and incorrect entries may be deemed invalid.
22.If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value in its absolute discretion.
23.Should an entrant's contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.
24.The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
25.The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in its absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
26.Once prizes have left the Promoter's or its agent's premises, no responsibility is accepted for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
27.In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner does not take an element of the prize at the time required then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
28.The Promoter's decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition result.
29.It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier's requirements provided in connection with this competition. Any costs and taxes associated with accessing the competition website or associated, participating in the competition or with accepting a prize are the solely responsibility of the entrant.
30.In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter's ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, computer error, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same or such other conditions as it sees fit.
31.The Promoter and its agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
32.By participating in the competition, or by accepting a prize, all entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Promoter, Facebook Inc., Facebook Ireland Limited, and the and each of their subsidiaries, affiliates, service providers, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies, officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever, including, without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in the competition, or possession, acceptance, and/or use or misuse of any prize or participation in any competition-related activity and claims based on publicity rights, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, intellectual property rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. Promoter reserves the right to cancel or modify the competition for any reason.
33.The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or information provided by the entrant, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
34.The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
35.The Promoter and its related companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
36.If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition in its absolute discretion.
37.All entries become and remain the property of Promoter. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed in writing to the Promoter.
38.Collection, use and disclosure of information: The Promoter ("we", "us") collects the information that the entrant ("you") choose to provide to us – for instance by providing us with information at the time of entering into a competition that we are conducting. We adhere to privacy legislation by only using your personal information for the purpose it was collected or consented to be collected (for instance by agreeing to separate terms and conditions), and for directly related secondary purposes. Where you have agreed to terms and conditions, they will apply in addition to this privacy statement. For websites you visit in connection with us, the collection, use and management of your personal information while visiting the websites may be governed by additional privacy policies and terms and conditions. 40.This competition is conducted in New South Wales and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
41.Entrants acknowledge that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook. Any information provided as part of the competition is provided to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
