It’s long been accepted that New Year’s Day is the new New Year’s Eve and for over a decade Future Entertainment’s Summadayze extravaganza has had that locked down for Melburnians, with Adelaide and Perth also getting a taste of SD action either side of the big day while its sister event Summafieldayze has rocked the Gold Coast not long after every year since 2003.
The artist selection for the 2012 edition is perhaps the most diverse yet, with the lovable hip hop icon Snoop Dogg headlining (though not in Adelaide, sorry guys) alongside Australia’s world-conquering rock/drum’n’bass fusionists Pendulum, Moby (in DJ mode), Sasha, Markus Schulz, Seth Troxler, Spank Rock and a whole heap more.
