Leader is giving away $5000 to one lucky person who advertises the sale of their house in the Property section.The competition is open to home owners who place minimum half-page advertisements for 4 consecutive weeks between 19 September and 15 December 2011, in the Property section of any of the following Leader publications:

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions of entry.

3. The promotion is known as the “Leader Spring Property” promotion.
4. Entry is available to Victorian residents aged 18 or over who reside within the following distribution areas;

5. Leader Newspapers’ privacy policy is available by visiting

6. Promotion commences at 9.00am AEST on Monday 19/09/2011 and finishes at 5.00pm AEST on Thursday 15/12/2011 (“promotion period”).
7. This promotion will be advertised online and in the Leader newspapers stipulated in Point 4 during the promotion period;
8. Consumers can enter via the following method:
a. Entrants are required to book 4 consecutive weeks of advertising with minimum half-page advertisements in the real estate section of the Leader Newspapers stipulated in Point 4 during the promotion period.
i. Each advertisement must be a minimum size of 4R in accordance to Leader Newspapers’ advertising production specifications (the equivalent of ˝ of a Leader newspaper real estate page).
ii. Each advertisement must appear in any real estate section of the Leader Newspapers stipulated in Point 4 during the promotion period.
iii. Each advertisement must advertise the entrants’ current residential address.
iv. Each advertisement must appear in consecutive weeks
v. Entrants must be the home owner of the property being advertised during the promotion period.
vi. Only one entry permitted for each eligible 4 week campaign.
9. The promotion is one of a game of chance. All valid entries will form part of a random draw.
10. The first valid entry drawn will win $AUD5,000
11. Total prize pool value is $AUD5,000.
12. The winner will be required to provide dates in which their property was advertised to verify they are eligible to enter. If the winner is not able to provide proof of eligibility, or is otherwise unable to satisfy the Promoter of the conditions for entry, the prize will be redrawn.
13. The prize draw will be held at 12.00 AEST on 16/12/2011 at the office of Leader Associated Newspapers Pty Ltd, 1-7 Chapel Street Blackburn Vic 3130.
14. The winner will be contacted by telephone and in writing within 7 days of the draw and the winner’s details will be published in Leader newspapers on week commencing 9/01/2012.
15. The prize will be distributed at the discretion of Leader Community Newspapers. The Promoter does not take responsibility for misdirected prize or prize received late.
