Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
Entry is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years and over.
Limit of one entry per person per day applies.
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies and outlets associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
To enter, purchase a specially marked promotional 24 stubby carton of XXXX GOLD or 30 can block of XXXX GOLD from any participating outlet during the Promotional Period and submit your entry with the last four digits of your barcode found on the base of the carton via SMS or online as follows:To enter via SMS, text the last four digits of your barcode found on the base of the carton or block, along with your first name and last name to 19 9999 28 during the Promotional Period. Maximum SMS cost will not exceed 55 cents including GST.
SMS entry is only open to consumers with a compatible mobile phone connected to a service provider which permits premium text messaging to the promotional SMS number. SMS entries submitted via the Internet are not valid and will not be accepted. A return SMS will be sent to each entrant who submits a valid SMS entry to confirm receipt of their entry. Complete all sections of the online entry form including first name, last name, postcode, email, mobile number and last four digits of your barcode found on the base of the promotional carton or block during the Promotional Period. Confirmation of your entry will be communicated via the website once successful entry has been completed. Entrants should keep a clear copy of their receipt showing an eligible purchase, as proof of purchase to claim the prize.
The promotion commences at 10.00am AEST on 26/09/11 and closes at 10.00am AEDT on 19/12/11 (“Promotional Period”).
All valid SMS and Web entries received during the Promotional Period will go into a Minor Prize Draw and Major Prize Draw. All draws will take place at Holler, Level 2, Suite 2, 2-12 Foveaux St, Surry Hills, NSW 2010, Australia.
There will be 85 Minor Prize Draws (one for every day of the Promotion Period) with the draws for the previous 7 days of the Promotional Period taking place every Monday during the Promotional Period at 3.00pm AEST/AEDT (as applicable in NSW) from and including 3/10/11 until and including 19/12/11. Minor Prize Draw dates are 3/10, 10/10, 17/10, 24/10, 31/10, 7/11, 14/11, 21/11, 28/11, 5/12, 12/12, 19/12. The final Minor Prize Draw for entries received on 19/12/11 will take place on 20/12/11 at 12.00pm AEDT. Valid entries will be grouped by day of entry (entries received between 12.01am and 11.59pm will qualify for that day of entry). All winning and nonwinning Minor Draw entries will roll over into the Major Prize Draw of the Ute Retreat. The Major Prize Draw will occur at 12.00pm AEDT on 20/12/11. The first valid entry drawn from all entries will receive The Ute Retreat Prize.
The Minor Prizes are a Shimano Rod & Reel fishing pack RRP $249.00 (“Minor Prize”). The prize pack comprises of a Shimano Aqua Tip 7ft 2-piece SnapperRod and a Shimano Baitrunner 4500B. There is one (1) Shimano Rod & Reel fishing pack to be won each day of the Promotional Period. All taxes (excl GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
The major prize consists of a Ute Retreat. This Ute is a brand new 2011 Nissan Navara ST 4WD Dual Cab ($65,888 including wheel upgrade) with 170mm Spotlights (RRP $1,500) and a Front Nudge Bar (RRP $900). The vehicle is fitted with a BRAVIA 40inch NX720 Series Full HD 3D TV (RRP $2,199), BOSE 3·2·1 & GS home entertainment system (RRP $3,599) and a Coleman 3 Burner LPG Stove BBQ (RRP $399). Prize includes costs related to the fabrication and installation of goods including custom fabrication hours ($37,000), electrical hardware and electrical work ($3,675) and fabrication supplies ($3,000). Prize also includes an allocation for vehicle registration for 6 months, stamp duty and 3rd party Green Slip insurance (value dependent on the State the winner is located). The total value of the Major Prize is RRP $124,301. All other ancillary costs including but not limited to insurances, taxes (excluding GST), petrol and all other expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Promoter will be responsible for delivery of the Major prize and the Minor Prizes to the respective winners. It is a condition of entry that the Major Prize winner will provide the Promoter with certified copies of all required documentation before the car is handed over to the winner. Winner will be informed of documentation required at time of notification of winning. The vehicle will have kilometres on the speedometer at time of presentation to the winner and any insurance claims will be paid out before the winner takes ownership of the vehicle.
Total prize pool is valued up to RRP $145,466.
The Minor Prize Draw and The Ute Retreat Prize Draw winners will be notified by telephone within two days of their relevant draw and in writing (email or mail) within 21 days of their relevant draw. The name of the Ute Retreat Prize Draw winner will be published in The Australian on 23/12/11.
If necessary, a second chance draw for any unclaimed Minor Prizes and The Ute Retreat Prize will be held on 20/03/2012 at the same time and place as the first draws in order to distribute any unclaimed prizes. The winner of any second chance draw will be notified by telephone within 2 days of the draw and in writing (email or mail) within 21 days of the draw. The name of The Ute Retreat Prize Pack winner will be published in the Australian on 27/03/2012.
Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter's decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel terminate or suspend the promotion.
If any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the various lottery authorities.
