1.The Promoter is Wotif.com Pty Ltd ABN 81 092 257 504, 7 Baroona Road, Milton Qld 4064 (Promoter). The permit numbers for this promotion are NSW permit no LTPS/11/08594 issued on 14/09/2011 and ACT permit no. TP 11/03766 on 16/09/2011.
2.Entry is only open to entrants who are Australian and New Zealand residents 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of Promoter, Hachette Australia, Hachette New Zealand and their related entities are ineligible to enter. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3.The promotion commences at 12.01am AEST on 14 October 2011 and closes at 12.00pm AEST on 17 January 2012 (“Promotion Period”). Entry to the online “Win a trip to Chicago with The Litigators” is free (excluding internet charges) and there is no limit to the amount of entries per entrant.
4.To enter the major prize draw of the promotion, participants must go to
www.wotif.com during the Promotion Period and click on the competition homepage button to enter. Entrants must enter their details: name, e-mail address, region, telephone number and sign up to the Wotif.com and Hachette Australia newsletters.
5.All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will go into the major prize draw which will take place at 3pm AEST on 22 January 2012 at Wotif.com, 7 Baroona Road, Milton QLD 4064. The first valid entry drawn from the major prize draw will win:
•Return economy flights for two people from: Sydney airport to Chicago, USA valued up to AU$3,160.00, some blackout periods may apply. Residents outside of Sydney (including New Zealand) are required to arrange transportation to Sydney.
•Accommodation voucher for seven nights at The Sax, Chicago valued at up to AU$1,340.00, some blackout periods may apply.
6.Flights to Sydney and international flights from New Zealand to Sydney are at the expense of the promotion winner.

8.To enter the minor prize draw, participants must click the Facebook “share” button or the Twitter “tweet” button in the entry e-mail.
9.The minor prize draw which will take place at 4pm AEST on 22 January 2012 at Wotif.com, 7 Baroona Road, Milton QLD 4064. The first 10 valid entries drawn from the minor prize draw will win:
•A hard cover copy of The Litigators, by John Grisham valued up to $39.99 each
10.The maximum total value of the prize pool for this promotion is AU$4,899.90
11.The winners will be notified by telephone and email within 2 days of the draw. The winners’ details will also be published at
www.wotif.com on 29th January 2012 for a period of three months.
12.An unclaimed prize draw will take place at 3pm AEST on 22 April 2012 at Wotif.com, 7 Baroona Road, Milton QLD 4064 should any winner of the main or minor prize draw be uncontactable.
13.The winners of any unclaimed prize draw will be notified by telephone and email within 2 days of the unclaimed prize draw. The winner’s details will also be published at
www.wotif.com on 29th April 2012 for a period of three months.
14.Visas, passports and all entry, exit, health or other documents required by law, regulations, orders, demands or requirements of the countries visited or transited are the responsibility of the winner and their guest. Prize winner and their guest must possess a valid passport and be eligible to travel to Chicago, USA both at the time of booking and also at the time of travel.
15.It is the winner’s responsibility to purchase any travel insurance they may require whilst on their prize holiday.
16.Bookings made with the Prize are subject to availability at the time of booking. Some blackout periods may apply.
17.The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash.
18.The prize does not (except as expressly stated) include; transfers, other transport or accommodation; meals or beverages; airport taxes or arrival or departure taxes; incidental hotel charges (such as mini-bar, telephone calls, in-house movies, food or beverages; spending money; insurance such as travel or health cover; vaccinations or other medical or health related services; any other ancillary costs which may be incurred by the winner or their guest in relation to the prize trip.
19.The Promoter expressly reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances as it deems fit and the Promoter's decision will be final and binding upon every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to change or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time subject to written directions from State Regulatory bodies.
20.The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, misdirected or illegible submissions.
21.The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
22.The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the Internet or telecommunications services.
23.If this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to cancel the competition or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.
24.In order for you to participate in this promotion the Promoter will collect your name and email address. The purpose for collecting this personal information is to enable the Promoter to administer the promotion. By entering this promotion you agree that the Promoters may use the aggregate information collected from the competition for related research and marketing purposes.
