Following the recent announcement of the 'They Will Have Their Way' national tour in November, the third instalment of 'The Songs Of Tim & Neil Finn' music, can now be revealed.
They Will Have Their Way: The Songs Of Tim & Neil Finn’ – the 2CD set album, will be released Friday October 28.
Featuring new recordings by some of Australia’s best new artists Seeker Lover Keeper (Holly Throsby, Sarah Blasko and Sally Seltmann), Old Man River & Washington, Lior & Emma-Louise and New Zealand’s Hollie Smith, the 2CD set will also feature songs from the 400,000plus selling ‘She Will Have Her Way’ and ‘He Will Have His Way’ albums.
The four brand new recordings on ‘They Will Have Their Way’ include:
1. Seeker Lover Keeper - ‘Sinner’ (Neil Finn)
2. Old Man River & Washington – ‘Dirty Creature’ (Split Enz)
3. Lior & Emma-Louise – ‘It’s Only Natural’ (Crowded House)
4. Hollie Smith – ‘Weather With You’ (Crowded House)
Proud to be part of the live shows and albums, Sarah Blasko solo artist and of Seeker Lover Keeper performed her stunning version of ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ on She Will Have Her Way and has now recorded the classic Neil Finn track ‘Sinner’ and says, “The music of Split Enz and Crowded House was music I grew up with. In particular I remember taping "I Hope I Never', "Better Be Home Soon" and "Don't Dream It's Over" off the radio and now and then hearing stories of their success in the United States and feeling proud, like I was related somehow.”
