TERMS AND CONDITIONS: WIN 1 OF 10 SIGNATURE CLUTCHES – SPORTSCRAFT COMPETITION1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these terms and conditions. If there is any conflict between these terms and conditions and any other published material, these terms and conditions are to prevail. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents in QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS, WA, SA or NT , who are 18 years of age and over, who ‘like’ the Sportscraft women’s Facebook page,
www.facebook.com.au/sportscraft (and remain a fan) during the promotion period and who provide a response to the question “why clutches are more stylish than handbags” (“Eligible Entrants”). Employees of the Promoter (and their immediate families) and its agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences at 12.01am (AEDST) Thursday, 27 October 2011 and closes at 11.59pm (AEDST) Thursday, 10 November 2011 (“Promotional Period”).
4. To receive an entry into the draw Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotional Period, ‘like’ the Sportscraft women’s Facebook page,
www.facebook.com.au/sportscraft (and remain a fan) during the promotion period. Eligible Entrants must also answer the question “why clutches are more stylish than handbags”.
5. The entries will be judged at 2.00pm (AEST) on Friday 11 November 2011 at 830 Elizabeth St Street, Waterloo NSW 2017. The winners will be notified via email by 5pm 11 November 2011. Winners details will be announced on the Sportscraft website on Tuesday 15 November 2011 and a link to this announcement will be posted on the Sportscraft women’s Facebook page on the same day.
6. There will be 10 winners. The 10 best entries will receive one prize per person. Sportscraft will send all winners their clutch via post within 1 week of the draw date. It is the responsibility of the winners to provide correct and complete address details so the clutch can be posted. If the winner fails to claim their prize, they will forfeit the prize (and no compensation will be given or paid in lieu), and another draw/s will take place on Monday 14 November 2011, at the same time and place as the original draw, until a winner is able to accept the prize as stated. The second chance draw winner/s will be notified by email on the 14 November 2011. The second chance draw winner’s details will be announced on the Sportscraft website on Wednesday 16 November 2011 and a link to this announcement will be posted on the Sportscraft women’s Facebook page on the same day.
7. Prize details include;
1 x Sportscraft Signature Miranda Leather Clutch, valued at $199
8. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. The winner will be contacted using the winner’s details included in their Sportscraft Facebook competition entry. The promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect details included in the winner’s contact information. Any ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner. If a winner is unable to utilise the prize they will forfeit the prize, and another winner will be drawn, and no compensation will be paid in lieu.
9. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other goods or services nor can they be re-sold. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value, performance, or availability of any prize. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the advertised prize for a prize of equivalent or greater retail value if, for any reason beyond the Promoters control, the Promoter is not able to give the prize-winner the advertised prize, subject to State legislation. Any incidental costs relating to the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
10. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoters and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable to any person for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
11. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of a prize winner being unable to satisfy these terms and conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize. For a prize that remains unclaimed or is forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, the Promoter will conduct a further draw at the same time and place as the original draw on Monday 14 November 2011 subject to permission from relevant state authorities. In the case of an expired event the winner will forfeit the event portion of the prize and no compensation will be paid in lieu.
12. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or a consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever resulting from incorrect details lodged by entrants.
14. The Promoter reserves the right (subject to written directions from State Regulatory bodies and any applicable law subject) to vary the rules of any competition or any prizes offered or cancel any competition if it is no longer able to run the competition due to reasons beyond its control. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage to any party arising from any variation or cancellation.
15. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including (but not limited to) any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
